“Highly recommend getting your next shed from Amish Structures! There's nothing not to love about working with this company. The construction quality is far superior to other shed companies. You get more options at a better price and Mary was amazing with her knowledge and suggestions. I wanted a shed that didn't look like a shed but was durable enough to store all our equipment and it came out amazing!”
“Bought a king size log bed and night stands, along with several other pieces, furniture is of the highest quality. Not one complaint!! And Cory will work with you and make sure your dreams are met.”
“I stopped in to Captain Ed’s Furniture today and was pleasantly surprised to find an enormous variety of furniture. I found a sofa that is just my style and a perfect fit for my space. I was further delighted by the friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff. Tina was incredible! She was there to answer my questions but also allowed me time to myself to view as many pieces as I chose. She struck that perfect balance between “I’m here for you” and “I’m not going to push for a sale”. Good furniture AND incredible staff! I will shop at Captain Ed’s again!”
“Nice little store in western Michigan. I was in Union Pier to visit St. Julian Winery, and thought since I was in the area I'd see if I could find a plant stand somewhere. (How, with the rise of plant parenting during the pandemic, is this not a more readily available piece of furniture?). But don't you worry, I didn't leave empty handed--this store didn't have what I was looking for, but it had a lot of other great stuff. It's a little confusing when you get there, trying to figure out where to go in--or if, indeed, you should go in; I was really worried I was wandering around someone's private home. I'm almost positive it *was* a private home at on time, and they've used the space in a really cool way. When you wander through the store--which is pretty large, and PACKED with stuff--you'll find furniture, candles, silverware, dinnerware, blankets, pillows, tote bags, cookie cutters, greeting cards... just about any sort of gift or houseware item you might want. They also have as a part of their business custom furniture building, and they've used one of the rooms to display the different types of wood that you can choose for your furniture. That's so creative!! I really love how in the kitchen they still have old-school appliances like a dishwasher, refrigerator... I swear, I felt like I was in my grandma's home. And the counters are also used to display merchandise. I'm honestly just so astounded by how clever they used this space to make it wonderfully inviting. The thing I don't love about this store is that it doesn't have a website for anything beyond its woodworking arm, and they don't use ApplePay. I asked about both things, because I had wanted to buy a blanket as a gift, but realized I had the household card on me instead of my debit card. So I ended up only picking up a few items and left the blanket. I know that opting against e-commerce is a deliberate choice and they clearly don't need to venture online for their business to work, but it's too bad for folks like me who don't live near and are not going to make the trip to shop there. On the other hand, it does add to the charm. Review #599 - November 18, 2021 #ThankYouThursday2021”
“Both the sales team on the floor and the delivery were awesome! We purchased both a couch and loveseat from La-z Boy and are please with each. Prices were reasonable and delivery was quick as we purchased items in stock. Highly recommend!”
“We purchased 2 power recliners from them a couple of years ago they have the best prices around we knew what we wanted called them and they beat all prices that I had received from local stores near us (we are 35 miles from there store). We needed a defective part replaced and they ordered the parts and within a week they had the new part replaced. So from sales to service and everyone in between they are the best. And I need to give a shoutout to there service technician Jeremy who is fantastic!”
