This bank branch in New Buffalo, Michigan, has one of the most combatant staff!! They have gone above and beyond to help me navigate a nomadic lifestyle. I am in several states each month, and they make sure my money is accessible. As we all know, that's paramount. Thank you for my peace of mind!

Although a couple online providers had slightly lower rates than Horizon for a HELOC, they couldn't come close to the attentive customer service. I was so happy with our loan officer (Gianna at the New Buffalo branch), I loved the personal connection, meeting in person, being able to call her directly without going through a phone maze, and being able to talk to the same person every time. And I love that they embrace and support the LGBTQ community.

This branch is bad for small businesses. In my third year of being an account holder in good standing they still hold deposits if your balance will not cover them. Michigan City never holds my deposits. Such a disappointment, Horizon. So inconvenient to get treated like a check bouncing criminal at one branch and a valued customer at another. Not being able to use the branch that is most convenient to get to for reliable transactions is so so frustrating. I strongly urge small business owners who need to access their money in less than 14 days after depositing it (which, New Buffalo Horizon is every single small business in America) to not rely this Bank. Open your accounts elsewhere.
