“Started with an oil change and ended up getting my brakes and rotors replaced. During the oil change they checked my tire pressure and filled them and sprayed the hinges of all of my doors which was so nice. They also let me know that I needed new brakes and rotors (my dash light had been on an embarrassing amount of time) but they were very kind and gave me an estimate, ordered the parts, and did the job on a Saturday morning for me. I felt very comfortable, all of the guys were extremely professional and helpful. Charlie was the only persons name I caught and he was the best! The pricing was extremely fair, they knew what to do with my foreign car (I honestly have no idea but they knew), and they did all the repair work on a Saturday! Super grateful for all the guys there and I would highly recommend seeing them for your oil changes and other car repair/maintenance.”

“They're a bit pricey, but they know what they're doing. Other sites are expensive too, and they do rubbish. Abe and Ali amazing service, they explain everything in detail, they show you the part to be change, they look for ways to benefit both parties in terms of labor and price. As a female this places sometimes makes me feel overwhelmed, not this place. Definitely would and will recommend this place.”
“Amazingly friendly staff. Full oil change done in about 10 minutes. Very clean and easy in and out. Johnny completed my oil change and he gave me a bottle of water and a package of Cheez-It! Johnny reminded me that they will top off my fluids between oil changes too! Highly recommend and I will be back!”

“I had a great experience with detroit garage. They diagnosed the problem on my car within a couple hours, documented all the areas of concerns with pictures which was very professional. I talked to them before I approved the repair to understand what parts were bad and needed to be replaced.

“Awesome place and awesome people! I blew out my A/C unit (faulty compressor) in March of 2024 and they were beyond helpful in diagnosing the issue and repairing it. I went back to have the timing belts, water pump and tensioners replaced shortly afterwards and once again, amazing help. I would recommend Sovel's to everyone!”

“Josh and David were awesome! Great service, comprehensive, and very fast. They were great at communicating every step of the way and went above and beyond the oil change (checked both air filters, windshield wipers, added fluid, filled tire air, etc).
I had also asked for them to double check my heat shield, as my last visit to a different Uncle Ed's location (on Stadium in Ann Arbor) resulted in it falling off after the service (which damaged it to the point I had to get it replaced). Not only did David check, but Josh made the extra effort to do so for my peace of mind!
They helped me with multiple facets of my car all while being very transparent and friendly. I really appreciated them and highly recommend this specific location!”
