Caitlin is an awesome yoga instructor! With her background as a physical therapist assistant, she is highly knowledgeable about the musculoskeletal system and how to tailor her yoga sessions towards a client's specific needs. In the survey before the session, she asks about any specific body regions or muscles you want to work on and is able to focus on those. She showed me some stretches I had not tried before and was able to modify them, which is something you can't always get when just watching a Youtube video. I work as a physical therapist assistant, and sometimes our patients run out of PT visits due to insurance limitations. Yoga is a great way to continue to address a patient's impairments if they cannot continue with physical therapy.

I took an online workshop, I found it very useful. It is notorious how Caitlyn truly is experienced and can adjust the yoga practice to people with injuries.

I followed 2 workshops with Caitlin now to learn more about injuries and pain during a Yoga Practice. She is so knowledgeable and always there to help if needed. You learn so much more about your own body and how amazing props are.

I had a pleasure to attend Caitlin's Yoga Workshop for the second time and I really enjoyed it! Caitlin explain the poses, offer modifications and really put a lot of attention into the safety of the practice. She is extremely knowledgeable, kind and do her best to make your experience pleasant. Thank you Caitlin!

I recently completed my yoga session with Caitlin of Tranquil Waves Yoga. I have minimal experience with yoga, but my wife gave me a yoga session as a gift. I contacted Caitlin prior to the session to discuss how/if yoga might help improve my golf game. After a brief discussion it became clear that yoga might offer me the opportunity to improve both flexibility and strength. I then scheduled my session and Caitlin began tailoring the session to my specific requested focus. The session began with some basic stretching and breathing poses, but then quickly focused on shoulder and hip flexibility and overall core strength. It was a great session and really demonstrated to me how yoga can be a great tool/method to improving flexibility and core strength, two key elements to a good golf game.Caitlin walked me through each pose describing how to do it in plain English using analogies when appropriate to really help me understand how to do a particular pose to get the most out of it and why that pose will help my golf game. This was an awesome experience and I plan to schedule more sessions to make sure I am ready for golf season.

I had my session with Caitlin and of course I was nervous since I have never done yoga before and I have had previous knee surgery as well has lower back pain. Caitlin did very well as accommodating me to what works best for me and my body and wouldn’t hurt me in any way. I loved that! Especially never have had tried yoga before. Caitlin is also very friendly and works with your personal needs one on one. I would definitely recommend Tranquil Waves Yoga!

I absolutely loved my sessions with Caitlin!! You definitely need to do yourself a favor and sign up! It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or a seasoned yogi, you will still learn so much from your one on one classes with her. Unlike group classes, her personal sessions allow you to have input in the poses and the goals you are setting for yourself. As a cyclist I have developed some really tight hip flexors so she was able to craft a routine just for me-with the goal of bringing back flexibility to that area. Not only that but she has a wealth of knowledge on breathing techniques and other ways to enhance and elevate your yoga practice. I highly recommend her and would encourage anyone who is unsure about yoga to reach out to her. She is so passionate about her practice and you can really feel it in the sessions with her.
