“I bought a Whirlpool washing machine just under 5 years ago and a 5 year warranty from ABC Warehouse. The washer broke down recently and it can't be fixed. Whirlpool discontinued making it and no parts are available to fix it. The warranty allows us to get another one at no charge. However, the new ones aren't made any better so the store manager allowed us to get an LG washer for a minimal upcharge. I was expecting a battle but was treated very fairly and respectful.
