Older lady in the back room wouldn’t let me use the restroom. The restroom door is open in an open hallway with no signs that say employees only/no public restroom. I really needed to go and don’t want to leave the clothing I was planning on buying to run to the food court. She looked me up and down and said sorry no it is not for the public. I’m not the public I made a purchase that same day.

I was there to return the items and The store manager named Megan was helping me but she was rude and nasty attitudes and discriminate she was giving me hard time, she didn’t show her professional to the customers , This is unacceptable .!!! ????

Disappointed with staff - they do not greet you when you enter the store and they do not ask you if you need help with anything. Girl who looked like the manager seemed stressed at the register.

My wife stopped in and of course I walked over to the men's section.. wow I was very impressed!! I found myself liking many items. They didn't have my size so I ordered some items online at the same price. I definitely think I found a new place when in need of some clothes.

I’ve been shopping with Express for many years. It’s great to see that recently the selections and designs have gotten even better. I’m excited for this because I still like in store shopping and this is a great place for me to relax and find great deals on great pieces

I had a horrible experience at this Novi location this week. I was there on 1/15/2023 and purchased three pairs of men's jeans on sale (buy one get one half off). Just a couple days later, I returned with my receipt to exchange them for smaller sizes. The manager and another colleague would not exchange the jeans for the sale price (even though it was an even exchange). Instead, they suggested that I return the jeans and then repurchase the smaller sizes for the non-sale price (paying much more money). This is bad business. I returned everything because I didn't want to give this location any of my money. That's just not good business. Be careful if you buy something on sale from Express and need to exchange within the refund period.

There is a staffing shortage and a minimum 25 minute billing wait time. First, employees should be at the counter; after that, they can rerack the garments or hire more workers.

I've shopped at Express for over 20 years now. Express always had great customer service. I've noticed a change in customer service for about a month now. The sales associates are not friendly. I'm used to being greeted and I didn't experience that at all. I've experienced the same treatment at the Somerset location as well.

Terrible customer service. There were 4 people working and 3 of them were having a heated conversation in the back of the store and a gentleman came out of the fitting room asking if he could wear the pants he was going to purchase, out of the store. Instead of nicely asking him to take them off so they could ring him up and remove the security tag, the manager snapped and just told the gentleman “no, I have to remove the sensor” and walked away from him. Not one single associate or manager greeted any customer waking into the store. I was embarrassed for them for their poor service.
