Do not leave your loves ones in the care of this facility's hospice ward. The staff are wildly undertrained/paid and are consistently negligent. The non assisted living spaces are fine, but once a resident declines to requiring assistance for daily tasks, they get much worse, far more quickly.

Honestly, the Erickson Company that owns the place is truely a for profit organization. They declared bankruptcy at Henry Ford Village Senior Housing in Dearborn MI three years ago, but only after taking all the money from the apartments that seniors bought from them originally. All of a sudden, Erickson Company is putting on new roofing and new parking lots at HenryFord Village. Then they tell the senior residents that "whoops, we forgot to tell you, we are selling the place." My mother-in-law is out $250,000.00. There is a class action suit in court now, but they have offered $12,000.00 in compensation to each resident. Don't do business with these people.

Honestly this facility ought to be charged for negligence. Multiple times my grandfather was given my grandmother’s medicine instead of his own and sent to the hospital as a result. While the amenities may appear appealing while you are able bodied, the care once you begin to decline is clearly negligent. They do not attempt to work with residents once they require too much work and instead speed their decline by doing things for them when they are still able to do for themselves, because it takes less of the worker’s time. Once they lose those abilities they only bathe them in bed and not frequently so you are reeking of urine. They only change briefs twice daily which causes deterioration of the skin to sit in wet briefs, resulting in raw skin and infection. The facility will go weeks without ensuring basic hygiene like teeth brushing. Basic dignity is stripped from the elderly once they cannot care for themselves.

While i've enjoyed my time here and wish i could keep working here i just can't. Fox run is not as it seem to the outside. Don't get me wrong i'm not saying that because of serving residents is hard or anything. Trust it can be hard. The residents are actually great, yes they have bad day. The residents are so caring and sweet you tend to get close with some of them. it's the managers and management of the building. No one is treated fairly here what so ever no matter how hard you are at working there's always something someone is gonna complain about. The biggest thing here you could get destroyed with words im talking about verbally abused and you can't defend yourself at all because if you do so you would be "talking back". Although i wish i could fix this issue i can't. A lot of things and issues go unresolved or get dismissed. Hopefully i can call the head department of fox run and get some things resolved. your hard work and emotions and view points doesn't matter here and it breaks my heart . it's much worse for people dealing with mental issues and illnesses.

We had our mom there, the care was good and very expensive, when she passed someone stole her $6000 hearing aids, which were new and they charge 10% of the money she had left and 3 month rent/expenses, when questioned, they said she signed the contract, what a rip off, READ UR CONTRACTS!!! Shameful

I'm very worried that they are opening the door for the covid virus. I was making a delivery to a resident in the Belmont clubhouse a few days back. Previously, I was asked health questions at the gate and didn't deliver the items to the resident. No health questions and the ability to deliver the items to the resident, seems very risky, especially since we are seeing a second wave in Michigan.Don't let down your guard, fox run....this virus is too dangerous.

started working there, the person I take care is wonderful. But some staff members are rude and harsh. Environment is safe for all seniors, not for middle class seniors.

The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. There are several good (but crowded) restaurant options (no breakfast served.). The facility is clean and well kept. My father-in-law at first described this place is like "living on a cruise ship".
