“One of the most celebratory historical churches in Detroit!
A place to worship and pray!
You feel like you are close to God!
I pray that it will always be the place for many Catholics and others to pray for all!
Absolutely stunning!

“Always the best midnight mass, this year was the greatest service I've attended. The Father was relatable , humorous and I wish I lived back in the area, I'd attend more often.”
“My family and I have been attending this parish since 2016 and we absolutely love it here. My kids have completed their sacraments here and their religious formation classes are fantastic. They offer plenty of opportunities to grow in faith and to connect with the community. We love Father Don, Deacon Johnny, and all the friendly and welcoming faces we see here throughout our week! Highly recommend.”
“Amazing place with hand made rustic beautiful spaces . Came for a guided zen morning. Shocked to find this is Hamtramck perfect location in a way. Heartfelt teachers and cats joined the tea and Q&A! Expected a commercial vibe but it was not.”
“Beautiful historic church. Please support if you can. Archdiocese should do something to help preserve this church, shame on them. Kept open because of parishioners who love and care about this church and do whatever they can to raise funds. God bless them and St.Albertus.”
“Had the pleasure of catering an intimate wedding here. What gorgeous grounds and building. Lovely dedicated staff, beautiful tables and wood work, lots of space to work out of. Look forward to coming back. - Chef Suzy at Chive Catering”
“Took 40 4th graders here on a field trip. To experience the last stop on the Underground Rail Road. The tour guide was amazing and tailored the tour to my kids age, and interest. It was very affordable and lasted about an hour and a half. No Areas are off limits and the my students sat in the room where slaved sat awaiting a boat ride to Canada to truly be fee. It was something very unique and moving for all of us. I highly recommend.”
“Relevant, organized, welcoming, temperature comfortable, and remote viewing of content optional. Speakers and guest are local and from abroad. Not pressured, come as you are.”
“The most beautiful church in Hamtramck (or even metro Detroit). Father Daniel is amazing, so friendly and down to earth. He is able to do mass and wedding ceremonies in English and Ukrainian.”
“This is my Church! My Grandma Church! Very genuine family oriented, community oriented Church home. Pastor Cox is passionate about the Word and his congregation. He has definitely taken on the roll and sentiments of Pastor Davis. I enjoy him and his leadership!”
“Definitely a place to be at on big events based on Lunar Calendar. They host a lot of music/dance performance, activities...etc.They also serve vegan food, and they are beyond delicious.Entry is free, everyone is welcomed!During major holidays, Co Pagoda has many cultural activities such as singing, dancing, etc. Entrance is free, drinks and vegetarian food are served. The food she cooks is undeniably delicious.I hope everyone comes to support her temple no matter what!”
“Royal Oak First United Methodist Church, led by Pastor Bridget Nielson, is a shining example of what a church community should be—warm, welcoming, and deeply committed to love, service, and inclusivity.
Pastor Bridget’s leadership is inspiring, combining wisdom, compassion, and a genuine dedication to helping others. The church fosters a strong sense of belonging, with vibrant worship, meaningful outreach, and a focus on making a real difference in people’s lives.”
“I was super impressed with how nice the people who go to the church where. A few of them came out and invited a Camera man into there church. Unfortunately 1 lady thought she had the right to ask for ID because someone had a camera.”
“Have been here many times in the past several years for Mass when in town. Its our typical go-to, even after my daughter's graduation. Its a small church, but spirit filled. Mass time is great, and the location is right on Woodward.”
“I Thank God for allowing and helping them to be obedient to Blessings my family and I. Great attitudes at this place. Thank you all so much. Blessings to Everyone!?”
“This church can be an example for many churches. There is adequate seating space, great parking and large restrooms. It also has head-start classes weekdays. The unisex sign on the restroom door is only utilized for the toddlers during school hours. Male and female restroom accommodations are utilized during any church services. The choirs are amazing and the true word of God is being taught each time the church doors open. There are brilliant and amazing young men “Young Men In Black” to assist with parking, handicapped, elderly and women with children. The ushers and nurses guild is always on point ready to assist in anyway. They are accommodating to Covid guidelines and restrictions. Your soul will be fed in this place. You will learn something before you leave.”
“I have been a parishioner for many years. St. Thomas More, it is always welcoming to everyone. You will find a personal encounter wit Jesus. There are many opportunities to grow in faith and experience the prescience of God . There is a beautiful Tabernacle chapel to pray that I love.”

“Solid staff with a true spirit of God in their heart. Willingness to help those who want to genuinely improve their status in life. Great problem solvers with a variety of resources for difficult cases. I’ve always thought highly of the Salvation Army but today I became a lifelong supporter of this wonderful institution. Thank u for helping my sister so much today. I will be forever grateful…”
“Landmark Community Church is a great to attend. The Pastor is all about sharing the Word of God which is found in the Holy Bible. He is all about developing his members and empowering them with the truth of becoming a World Changer. He teaches people how to become an entrepreneur and how the business world works..You also learn how to become a millionaire or even a billionaire, the sky is a limit. Out of all the churches I've attended, this is one of the greatest churches ever!!! You won't be disappointed!!!”
“Entire staff is compassionate and truly welcoming!!! Always extending helping hands and have the best pantry I have visited. Live in Westland and travel the distance....this speaks volumes. ### God sent persons!!!”
“This is my HAPPY place! Couldn't have prayed for a better pastor, first lady, church, congregation. I'm honored to be part of such an amazing family. I've been a member for going on 4 yrs now after going through some hardship in my life, walked in them doors one Sunday morning and my whole life changed. It was such a warm welcoming feeling that I will never forget, like someone rsvp had been saving a seat just for me. I got baptized in August 2017 another awesone unexplainable experience it's like the family I been searching for my whole life. I love it here, I don't know where I'd be if I didn't know God and the power of the Holy Spirit beyond thankful for my church home Pastor Ellis & Lady Tracey she's the best her hugs & prayers are breathtaking ?❤”
“Blessed to have the Rev. Kenneth James Flowers & First Lady Terri Flowers. Anointed & appointed man & woman of GodCome & worship with us!????????”
“I used them few times it’s great to have a local place like this so you don’t have to suffer on the days when you have food shortage. The great part is they give good, variety of food not inedible cans over and over which is amazing especially with having kids! I took a star off because some of the the staff is rude and do favouritism. For example an older white lady which I encountered before ! she was laughing and joking for over 5 minutes with the white gentleman in front of me . Loading his trunk carefully with extras too complementing his BRAND NEW truck & when it come my turn a momma of 3 in true need she threw me a box & was like okay bye that’s it. Okay bye ma’am ! lol but some of the staff is really sweet too! Like the white gentleman Gid bless him who ushers the line he told me to check my tires and drive safe in the snow and he was right one of my tires was low. And the African American lady that signs you up she a sweetie and so helpful .”
“I love my church I been going here since 2008 and I'm been a member years ago. I love Pastor Kinloch, but the only thing is that he needs a bigger church for how many people go here.”
