Fantastic store. Basically the best prices I've found in metro detroit. lots of used jazz, blues, rock, and there's a lot of $1 or $.25 bins with some decent stuff here and there. They had a great used coltrane album in great condition I got for $8, it'd be $30+ anywhere else. Also got a used jeff beck album in excellent condition for $3 that I've seen go for $50 brand new. I spent almost 3 hours in here in one visit. Check this place out!

I've been a DJ, since 1985, and I'm so glad stores like street corner still exist where you can get good quality service from knowledgeable people who respect the love of music to the upmost.

Great selection, staff is knowledgeable and friendly. If you're a record geek like me, you could easily spend hours (and more than a few dollars) looking for that nugget you never knew you couldn't live without.

Merchant Review: Vinyl & SashimiI recently visited Vinyl & Sashimi, a unique record store that also offers sushi and a wide selection of quality footwear. I must say, it was a delightful experience.Firstly, as a music enthusiast, I was thrilled by their extensive collection of vinyl records. They had an impressive range of genres, from classic rock to jazz and everything in between. The staff was knowledgeable and passionate about music, and they were more than willing to help me find specific albums or recommend new ones. The store had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, making it a haven for any vinyl lover. What sets Vinyl & Sashimi apart is their fusion of music and food. I was initially skeptical about the idea of enjoying sushi while browsing through records, but I was pleasantly surprised. The sushi was expertly crafted, fresh, and flavorful. It was a unique experience to enjoy sushi rolls while discovering new music. The combination of the two created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.Furthermore, Vinyl & Sashimi also offers a selection of quality footwear. I was impressed by the variety and style of shoes available. From sneakers to boots, they had something for everyone. The staff was helpful in finding the right fit and providing recommendations based on my preferences. It was convenient to shop for music, grab a bite to eat, and find a new pair of shoes all in one place.Overall, Vinyl & Sashimi is a hidden gem that offers a remarkable blend of music, food, and footwear. Whether you're a music lover, a sushi enthusiast, or in need of stylish shoes, this store has it all. The friendly staff, extensive vinyl collection, delectable sushi, and quality footwear make it a must-visit. destination. I highly recommend checking out Vinyl & Sashimi for a truly unique and enjoyable shopping experience.
