Street Corner Music is a fantastic brick and mortar record store with a nostalgic, classic vibe. It never seems to disappoint, offering the greatest used and new selection of all different kinds of music, including vinyl, CDs, and vintage audio. The store has lots of used jazz, blues, and rock, with very fair and unmatchable prices, including $1 bins. The customer service is outstanding, with knowledgeable, professional, easy going, pleasant, and too cool clerks who provide great, kind service. It is a safe haven and the best place on earth for diehard fans and vinyl collectors, highly recommended to anyone. The overall experience is just as expected from the Motor City.
I don't get to that side of town very much these days. But, when I do, I always make get a point to stop in.

I called with a list of cd's for my 85 year old brother and the man actually took the time to go thru the entire list and put the cd's on hold for me. I haven't had that kid m kind of customer service in a long time.
