“Clean store, usually well-stocked. Not the largest variety, but for a Dollar General it's sufficient. Staff friendliness is a 50/50 shot. Some of them are spectacular and friendly, others you can tell would rather be just about anywhere else. Most of the time it's a good experience though. And a great addition for a small town to have for its residents.”
“Since moving here from up north, I shop there quite often, this place is clean, organized the staff is friendly and very helpful! Only problem I have is with the corporation, letting these workers suffer during the heat with their air conditioning not working for months, but as often as I went in there during that time they did their job and smiled! “There was a couple very nice ladies working this morning, who helped me with a coupon issue. They went above and beyond When they absolutely did not have to. They didn’t make me feel like an inconvenience and explained the app to me without talking down to me one bit or making me feel stupid for not being to tech savvy. This is definitely one of the best Dollar General’s I have been to thank you for appreciating your customers concerns and keeping the store stocked and clean.”
“An under appreciated convenience for the village. I’m always greeted by an employee upon entering or while shopping. Despite what seems to be the business model for DG, running day to day operations understaffed or overworking salaried employees, the staff at this particular location stay busy if there are no customers ready for checkout, are always polite and helpful and probably more loyal to the company than the company itself deserves. As someone who was once upset about the idea of a Dollar General being put in, the convenience and consistency of my shopping experiences has changed my view.”
