“We checked it out as we were from Pennsylvania. I ended up buying several things because it was cheaper and they had such an awesome extensive selection we don't get in our state. I highly recommend this place as they had a better selection then anyone around them for about 20 miles. The clerk was extremely knowledgeable and after I told him about the taste profiles I was looking for he was able to make great recommendations and was extremely happy to help. I would return 1000% if im back in the area. Even better he was freshly 21 and had a real knack for the knowledge it was like talking to a Sommelier.”

“One of the biggest walls of whiskeys in the Waterford/Clarkston area, and certainly better priced than most places. If you like Scotch, they have many versions of the best brands, which isn't too common during this bourbon craze. They also keep some nicer items behind the counter if you get to know them a little better.”

“It doesn't look like a great selection at first glance, but th owner is very knowledgeable and helpful. Very nice array of whiskey and runs, tons of different beers, wine, soju, and plenty more to choose from. He will also special order upon request. I would confidently recommend this store to almost anyone, especially if you're interested in trying something new.”

“While I recommend this Kroger overall, it is starting to be by default only as there are limited other places to shop at. I know the Bakery here is essentially independent of Store Management, but I have repeatedly asked for you to carry Goldminer California Sourdough Toasted Onion Square Bread only to have it ordered ONCE and then never again. You see, I took the liberty of contacting them directly and they informed me that that bread variety was their number one seller in Michigan but yet you, Kroger in Lake Orion, seemingly refuses to sell it. Why? Furthermore, what happened to Russo's Onion Rye variety bread that you used to sell? A fellow can't even buy good bread to make sandwiches anymore. Pathetic. Horrible. I'm telling Mom.”

“I can't say enough to explain how great this establishment is. I'm 45 now and have been coming here since I was 9 years old on my bike. Kevin and his limited staff know all their regulars by name & usual purchases. On the off chance they don't have what you're looking for, they will get it ASAP & let you know when it arrives.
Beyond that, they Care. They hear your stories and remember.
For instance, my daughter was gifted a Huge box of sheet music after hearing she got a piano for her 13th birthday.
Who does that?!?! No one but the best!”

“Great produce. Super fresh and extensive. Wonderful selection of gourmet items. Enormous prepared foods counter and bakery. They always have whatever I'm looking for. The one drawback is that the rest of the store (from the center to the North end) is laid out strangely so it's difficult to maneuver their diagonal aisles in the grocery section and getting to the checkout lanes honestly. This has been a problem since they opened in this location and hasn't ever been remedied.”

“I went to Kroger in Lake Orion today to buy a bouquet of flowers for my Granddaughter that turned 16 today. I asked a lovely young lady for her help & suggestion and she went above & beyond what I had expected. I want to say Thank You So Much To Lealah!! She replaced the orange roses in the bouquet because the roses didn't look the best and replaced them with beautiful fresh orange carnations and wrapped the large bouquet of mixed flowers for me to give to my Granddaughter. Again, Lealah, Thank You So Much for your extra help!!🩷💐”

Was able to take my support dog in with no problems.
The layout in areas like the bakery is not handicapped friendly. I use a riding cart, and maneuvering through several areas was difficult.
