“I’ve rented from here a few times lately and this is hands-down the best Uhaul rental I have been to. The staff is always very friendly, easy to work with, and go above and beyond when they don’t have to. There are multiple uhaul places between here and my house and I choose to drive the extra distance for this uhaul rental. Any rental or storage needs I have, I will continue going here exclusively!”

“This location is awesome to deal with, and I don't think it has ever taken more than 10 minutes from arrival to trailer hookup. The trailers have always been clean, and it is obvious that they are well maintained. Don't change anything and your next customer will be happy.”

“[please "like" is this is helpful]When everything goes that smoothly, it is a sign quality people making the customer experience delightful.Truck: clean, perfectly maintained, full tanks at pickupService: kind, quick process, walk-through of the truck functions as well as practicalities of driving and refilling fuel, etc.Jim and team know their business and do it well.Return process: easy and quick; after hours key drop-off. (There is an open part of the yard to store your car while using the truck)Note: as of this review, rental customers must be a company, not personal individual.”

“The staff there was nice. In general Penske does not carry the 22 foot truck. Later after we ordered we found out you will almost always get a 26 foot. They should know what truck size they have and won't have. We had more problems dropping it off at another location.”

“Overall positive but the only error on U-Haul’s end is that the equipment inside the vehicle (heating and cooling) had to be rigged by manually holding the fan handle down in order to get the fan to turn on as it wouldn’t on its own. So you can imagine traveling 1,500+ miles from Michigan to Florida was rather annoying and inconvenient at times. When you had to hold and press the knob handle down (not up lol), I had to adjust the fan vents using my other hand, so they would properly ventilate the cabin. Therefore you couldn’t drive using both hands. Once it heated or cooled depending the time of day, then you could drive with your left hand and hold the handle down with your right so you could operate the temperature and fan as needed.Uhaul needs to check these things for proper use before issuing vehicles to any customers prior to long travels. I didn’t discover this until well into my trip from Michigan to Florida and chose to deal with it versus having to unload the entire truck to another. I can be reached to cordially discuss. However it was nice to do a truck share by hitching a trailer which reduced my entire bill significantly. For that I thank Uhaul for the opportunity to do so. Thank you kindly.”

“Super quick last minute rental there this past week. Didn't even know "Uhaul" was there, which is much closer than the nearest actual Uhaul for me. Our box truck wouldn't start at 9:55am and we had a job to be at by noon. Had the truck booked, paid for and picked up by 10:30am!! The truck was already out front and ready to go when I arrived, with the keys in the lockbox.I did go inside, thinking maybe doing the pick up at the counter may be quicker in a hurry. But while waiting on someone to come assist me, I decided to start the mobile pick up. Instead of needing help from the busy workers, I was able to do it all myself easily, following the instructions on their site. Keys out of lockbox, locate and look over truck for damage, take pic of odometer and gas level to confirm and go. Was there about 5 minutes tops. The return of the truck we just tossed the keys in the box, but don't think that's the norm! Maybe missed a step! Called and told them it was there on the phone, etc and they said all set and no problem ?Not bad rates and less than I expected for a rental right now. Even with adding insurance and roadside, the 6 hr rental of a 15ft box truck was only like $60ish I think. But we also didn't drive it far and it's $0.89 a mile you drive.A few notes on my experience with Uhaul insurance and roadside assistance, not this location but in general, and why I prefer it over Penske. For those still actually reading and like detailed reviews...Highly recommend purchasing the insurance and roadside through Uhaul. Few different options for deductibles/tiers I believe, and in case of any accidents/breakdown. It's worth it to cover your bases and have that peace of mind. Others might disagree if you have insurance coverage that will extend to the rental. But make sure you're covered somehow in case of an accident or even breakdown, especially if you're moving expensive items, even more so if going long distances, having multiple drivers, passengers, etc. Call your insurance and don't just assume.Anytime the Uhaul rental has had an issue, roadside was on top of it. Including up north in the middle of nowhere really. And the one unfortunate time when we had an accident on the on the freeway at midnight, while on the way back from a job across the country, Uhaul had help there in minutes. The tow truck they sent arrived shortly after the police. Uhaul insurance people and their lawyers made the process of the insurance claim and lawsuit a breeze!!! They took care of EVERYTHING, including the "injured passengers" hospital costs for his "seat belt burn and shock", negotiated a settlement for his "physical injuries" (he barely had a scratch..) and "emotional damages/ptsd" from the incident. Their lawyers took on EVERYTHING and said "we'll be taking care of all this, don't you worry". And we didn't have to!! We got the money for the damaged furniture to replace it all, they settled the frivolous claim for a tiny amount and paid it and I was shocked at the great service and so thankful for purchasing the insurance for just a little extra, always have and always will.On the flipside, when we had the unfortunate luck of having the catalytic converter sawed off our Penske rental overnight, they charged us for 8 WEEKS OF RENTAL FEES because it took their "backed up mechanic" that long to fix it. And the extra insurance I purchased through Penske, with a $1000 deductible we had to pay already as it was a $1500 repair to replace the catalytic converter, didn't cover the "lost rental fee revenue"!! And they thought I should pay for 8 weeks of rental fees because they have a backed up mechanic, over a stolen catalytic converter taken from a safe neighborhood, which I had no control over. INSANE! Uhaul didn't ask us to pay for the time it took them to buy a replacement truck! Sticking with Uhaul and thankful for this new, or at least new to me, pick up location for trucks!!!”

“I used the facilities for a few months. I really wanted a temperature controlled unit so I knew my stuff would be safe and kept out of moisture. This place is super clean. Someone is always cleaning which I super appreciated. Cameras for security. Big open garage to move stuff in and out out of the elements. I've always dealt with friendly people there but I know everyone has different experiences with service depending on their own mood and day, just have patience going in and it'll be fine. My onllyyyy issue was that no matter how many times you checked in or swipes your card or whatever, the alarm in your unit will go off when you open it, then they come on the speaker and say to check in, which I already did. This locked me out of the garage a couple times which was inconvenient to say the least and my reason for 4 stars. I loved the ease of moving out and I moved out 2 days before the end of the month and I was NOT charged on the 1st, was very pleased with closing out my unit so easily, top notch there. Now I'm in the Upper Peninsula where NO temperature controlled storage exists, maybe this U-Haul needs to open one, ;) Thanks for the goodness!”
