If I could give 0 starts for Mark James and his "Team" I would. Hard to get a hold of and have to constantly check in. We would send him email and would not get a response I would text him asking if he got the email, he would say no then 1 min later text me back and say he did. Him and the Underwriter (Nancy) do not communicate. I would send Mark documents and then get an email from Nancy asking me for those same documents. Every time I would ask Nancy a question, she would give me an answer that had nothing to do with my question. We almost didn't close because Rachelle (Marks processer) missed the final approval email from the title company. We got our final approval/numbers back at 5 pm the day before we were closing. To say they were incompetent is an understatement. All in all, Genisys is a great bank but do not go to this branch for a mortgage or you'll be dealing with a nightmare mortgage team. Do better Genisys and employ people who actually do their job properly.

Twice at this branch, Aisha Copeland helped me troubleshoot what was going on with my card. She was AMAZING and so respectful and very hopeful. Helped to get answers both times and was able to help resolve my temporary issues.

ALL the women that answer the customer service phone here are miserable and don’t have any empathic skills! Absolutely hate people like that! I don’t recommend this company either. And since all the women that work here have an attitude problem maybe they should get retrained or look for a new job. No compassion at all!

I am really happy with Génesis bank thank you Marie Nicholson for treating us like family I was able to open my business account also here in this bank I cannot complain and I also let my family and friends and also my business colleagues know that this bank is one of the best and I mean one of the best I don’t care what anybody else has to say negative about this bank because when you walk in the doors they treat you like you are family and I been with chase banks since I was nine years old and I switch over after 32 years of being with Chase if you guys are looking to open an account please look for Marie Nicholson she’s the best .❤️??

They never answer the phone. None of the branches around me do. Very sad. They need a 24/7 phone service that has people available any time of the day.

I would encourage anyone looking to open or switch their account to Genisys to look elsewhere. I have been a long term member and have found their interest savings rates, loan rates credit card rates and fees uncompetitive. I really have become disappointed with Genisys.

I was recommended to go to Mark James for home loan. Got a pre-approval and already on my way on getting a home, everything was great until one call. The day before the purchase and signing of the home Mark calls and says he’s sorry that he gave me a pre approval and that he should have never done it and that it was his fault. He made me not only look bad on every level but said he was going to fix it and give me a call back and never did. His level of performance and professionalism is unreal. I don’t recommend anyone going to him at all. This man isn’t reasonable and I think he should be accountable for what he did to me.By the way, I just had a new born and this was going to be my first home and me and my family have always been members of genesis and never had a problem. If Some says to go to him. DONT!!

Came here today to get a money order and other transactions. Been a member for about thirty years before the merger. I never have problems. Today this arrogant biased teller has to insult me then go and get her supervisor to tell me about lowering my mask and removing my glasses. I removed the glasses i always do and her response You have to look at the camera so we can see you. I am almost 6 foot what is she talking about? Finally its time to chastise me as if i were a child. Then she allowed the teller to complete the transaction. The tellers then asked her Why you do that? As i was leaving. Her response. Cause i want to. I will not be back to this branch. I even had problems with my car. Someone tried to get in it through the truck. The lot is always empty. They have very little patience and no empathy towards the customer. Both teller and manager at this location need retraining.

It doesn't seem to matter which branch I visit. Everytime I go after work (I work evenings) the atms are all "temporarily not taking cash". It's starting to get very frustrating as I work in the restaurant industry and would like to be able to deposit my money after work and not carry a bunch of cash on me.
