After a small wait she checked the new stock that just came in and they had them. She set them aside for me. I am driving from Southbend indiana. The customer service Emma gave was beyond exemplary. I would give Emma 10 stars if possible. Excellent job Emma. I will definitely be returning to Dunham’s of Portage for all my outdoor needs.”

“February 2nd, 2024I had come in this store per recommendation of a friend to check out their selection of firearms and ar15s as I was looking at a potential first; now first. As soon as I stepped in, I saw lots of people shopping and was greeted upon entering; this alone made me know this was going to be a great place. I was glancing at the great floor selection of ar15s when Matt, great person with knowledge, attended me and asked what I was looking for. After explaining my dilemma which sums up as “buy once, cry one” and how cheap is often more expensive, Matt had offered to show me an Sig SAUER m400. For the price of the rifle plus the upgrades/extras included (like the Timmey trigger), as it was used firearm which I did not mind at all, was almost as a reward for my patience. Matt had walked me through what to look for and what makes this a great rifle as my first by stripping it completely and physically showing me key parts and components, and at the price point, it was perfect for me; great price and warranty along with savings to myself if I had gone out and purchased a cheaper rifle that would’ve had parts swapped out. To say the least, I had the paperwork started which the experience with Matt was great. After paperwork and payment went through, I had walked out with the biggest smile on my face but without the rifle due to the dumb delay law for being under 21 years old. Granted it wasn’t a long delay but also not in their control so I didn’t mind.February 8thWhen it came down for pickup, the process of pickup was made a breeze. I showed my receipt and quickly was my rifle presented. While waiting for the double checking of the paperwork, Veteran Chris (if I recall correctly) took me to the accessories that I might be interested while another guy (great dude but can’t remember his name) showed me some red dots and lights I might be interested as well. After so, I had the confirmation that I now own my Sig SAUER m400 ar15 and was ready to head out the door, I was super happy with the overall complete experience. While Matt wasn’t there, I would have liked to thankhim for helping make my first visit to On Target a great one as well as helping guide me to my first ar15 rifle. I most definitely will be coming back for other needs and wants in the near future.Having put plenty of rounds through the rifle first day with it at the range after accessorizing it to my liking and needs, I’m more than sure to say this rifle will stay with me. Like a first car, it’ll stay for as long as it can knowing if I ever was stupid to get rid of it or something causes its loss, I’ll most definitely miss it.”
