Speedway is a large chain gas station and convenience store located right around the corner from the Kalamazoo Air Zoo. This is an older location and does not have all the features of newer ones. Customers find the gas is okay, but some swear it makes their vehicles run poorly. The fast food is not very good but fast, making it a basically fast in-and-out, high-priced chain store. Several significant issues have been reported. One customer experienced a very large on-hold charge on their credit card after pumping gas, which was far more than the purchase amount. Another customer purchased milk that was two weeks expired, finding it sour and spoiled. When reporting this, the clerk offered no apology and only removed the product after being asked. The experience suggests that checks for expired products, especially in dairy, may be missed.
