A total con and scam at this store. Went for a new additional line and the man changed my plan which was not even available gave me a free phone for a trade in. If I would have never checked my bill heat month I would have never found out. Called customer service to resolve which is some call center that can't help you... Verizon is no good anymore..

Our experiencing getting new phones here was infuriating. I wish I had just done it online. We set up an appointment and it took more than an hour and multiple unexplained trips to the back to upgrade our phone plans because we were consistently being upsold on services we repeatedly said we didn’t want.. like iPads and watches to streaming services. Nope. No. Just want to trade in my phone and move on with my life.
So after 1 hour and 15 minutes we FINALLY started the process of transferring our phones to the new phones, a service which costs $50 and our sales person insisted would take 20-30 minutes and he’d be with us every step of the way. He pushed a couple buttons and then walked away … only for the transfer time to take over an hour. By this point I was late for a meeting and had to leave, phoneless because the transfer was still not done.
In fact when we went back the process STILL wasn’t done and we had to take our new phones and old phones home to finish the process. We were told to simply bring the old phones back within 30 days when we were down. We came back two days later only for them to give us trouble when returning the phones claiming my mom, who manages the account, needed to be there to bring the old phones in. Which is hilarious because we brought her with us to get the new phones in the first place and they never asked for her to authorize a single thing. It wasn’t until we got visibly frustrated that we got the help that we needed. Then they printed a recipe confirming the phones were returned but only one phone was on the receipt. They claimed the other one had a print issue and couldn’t reprint the other one and we’d get two receipts to our email but we only got one. So now I’m freaked out that we won’t have proof we returned both phones.
Our sales rep was nice but I’m sorry.. this process was insanely long and I regret doing this at the store. I get that they probably work on commission or something but don’t waste my time especially when it’s clear that we simply want to do one thing and don’t want to be upsold.

We’re not helpful, was told to call a 1 800 number then had to come back into the store. Don’t waste your time, use another carrier.

My dad is 81. In hospice and needed a new phone, as his wasn't holding a charge. I was concerned that he wouldn't be able to learn a new phone.
Matthew was super helpful and figured out we needed a new charger, the phone was so old , Matthew was able to recommend where to get one since they didn't have that kind in there store. I am thankful and appreciate matthews helpfulness and kindness

Matt was awesome! He knows his stuff and fixed all my issues very quickly. Go here for issues - it’s not a franchise. It’s a corporate store and the employees are trained well.

Worked with Paige and Mathew and they were a great help setting up an account and figuring out how to switch from ATT (a very bad company). They were extremely polite, knowledgeable and diligent helping me get set up and dealing with issues caused by ATT. Can’t thank them enough.

I visited the Verizon Store in Portage on Westnedge and stood for a while waiting. I've have to be honest, Being their is very impersonal, which I know what the big boys want, but truly, the distance they keep you, and oh my God, don't let your customers sit down, just stand around wait and get out. That's the feeling I get every time I'm there. Where is this country going? What I like best is how they try to make you believe they care so much about their customers. What a joke! Cold and unwelcoming and not the best pricing either.

Verizon billing practices are terrible they promise discounts if u sign up for checking but you never get it.

Was with Verizon for almost 10 years, each year my bill went up and up. I finally went in and paid off my phone and left Verizon. My bill with Verizon was over $125 a month. I now pay less than $50 a month and have arguably better service. Also when I went in the lady who "helped" me was quite rude when I asked her if there were any fees for leaving Verizon and she cancelled my plan without me asking her to. Decent cell service but very overpriced and not the nicest staff. Do not recommend.
