“Styles are geared more towards younger girls/women and run way small in size. I bought large tank tops because I like them roomy, they are skin tight and more like medium. They have a plus size section though and the 1x fits like a large, found 4 sundresses that fit great.”

“This place is a hidden gem! I’ve shopped here for quite a few years now and am obsessed! They always have the best things at the most fair prices. It’s hard for me to shop retail. Robyn the owner is the most sweetest person which makes shopping there that much more enjoyable. Support this local shop! 💙💕”

“I've been riding my this store for over a year now, and I've always been curious if they had anything that would fit me (6'4 275lbs). Well I wanted a nice shirt and tie for my lady's birthday dinner. Russ was great from the time I walked in the door until the time I walked out with a beautiful shirt and paisley tie that he helped to perfectly match to my lady's dress. Thank you again Russ , and I truly look forward to shopping with you in the future.”

“Staff are always friendly and helpful. This hidden jem in east Dearborn is a one of a kind spot to pick up great antiques and vintage clothing and jewelry. Most people don’t even know much about this place but it’s definitely worth coming back to if you like antiques or just old stuff.”

“We were delighted to do business with Wendy and Jimmy at Second Showing. We found high quality furniture in new condition that is perfect for our needs. Their standards are high, so this is not a typical "thrift" store or consignment store that is crowded with outdated styles; customers will find high end pieces from non smoking pet free homes, not fixer-uppers. They were very helpful in arranging delivery, as well. We will be back, even just to browse and say hello. It's a pleasure to do business with a local establishment that is focused on quality products and service.”

“One of my favorite local Value Worlds, great selection, reasonable pricing as long as you aren't looking for name brand items then its just not even in question.. wish they would stop price gouging on higher end items again just to make an extra buck and make things even less obtainable for others... but ya'know that seems to be how everything is lately. They make money while we struggle to pay for clothes... anyways, great selection.”

“Kelsey is amazing. Every time I talk to her, she makes things simple, clear, and stress‑free. She’s the kind of person who naturally helps everyone around her, and you can feel how much she cares about doing things right. She knows her stuff, she’s dependable, and she always makes you feel supported. People like her make a huge difference — she deserves all the recognition and gold stars!!”

“Hey guys dropping in for some QTNA, I just spoke with Tania and she was so helpful! Yes, Detroit Closet does buy shoes, clothes and accessories from 1-3pm on weekends. On weekdays it depends on how long they will buy but it’s based off their budget for the day. They open at 12 noon and close around 6pm. Hope this helps bc it helped me!”

“Staff is amazing here! Such a lovely location for that reason alone! Pricing is fair most of the time and while the location isn't huge, they still have interesting items that change out often! The line can get a bit long especially on busy days or sale days. However later in the evening on weekdays I find it to not be that bad.”

“Smaller Salvation Army store with a friendly staff.

Always look behind the check out counter for 'the good stuff'.

Drop off is a drive-through behind the building, you enter from the East side.

Not too many tools, but lots of printers and scanners.

Changing rooms are in the back NE corner.

When you walk in, always check what color tags are 1/2 off on the sign.

Televisions are often in the furniture section.

Never seen any vinyl from the 70s or latter. It seems that everything is from the 50s or is religious in theme. Not really a place to shop if you are looking for wax.

A lot of women's clothing!

Oddly, almost all of the art is in the front window, fading from the sun.

Recommended, with limitations.”

“First of all the staff are very nice. One thing I don’t like is this new layout of the store, it’s weird, but I got used to it sort of. They usually have at least one thing that I can get from here, a big selection of shirts, sweatpants, and shorts for sure. The electronics aisle is sometimes cluttered, but you can look thru it still. If you go to a goodwill around here, I recommend this one.”
