“I've never been to the one here in Kalamazoo, but I do know I've found some AMAZING deals at the one in Benton Harbor. And the staff was SO friendly and sweet....”
“Everyone at this location is incredible but Ashley goes above and beyond. The store is the cleanest and most organized DG ive ever been in. She is always working tirelessly with a smile on her face, she never treats her customers like an inconvience and is always happy to help.”
““I recently stopped by Family Dollar, and overall, this is a place I visit often and feel comfortable going to.
The environment is good, and the people behind the counter really make the difference. There’s a young lady there who is always welcoming, smiling, and positive whenever I come in—that kind of energy matters and makes customers want to come back.
On one visit, a friend of mine wasn’t allowed inside, so I had to go in for him. But my experience personally has always been respectful and smooth.
At the end of the day, it’s the people that make a place, and this team does a great job of creating a good atmosphere.
Definitely a five-star experience for me.”
House of Truth… supporting the places that support the people.”
“I had a great experience at Family Dollar. I stopped in to grab some food before heading to the Red Roof Inn, and everything was convenient and easy to find.
What stood out most was the customer service. The young lady at the counter was very courteous, friendly, and respectful. That kind of energy makes a difference and keeps people coming back.
I go based on how a place treats people, and this location gets it right. Because of that, I would definitely recommend this store to anyone who follows my reviews.
Let’s support businesses like this that show good customer service and care about their customers. Five stars from me.”
“Very well organized and great staff. The entire crew is always full of good energy and I just learned today who the store manager was. I never knew it was him because he's always stocking things so I thought he was a regular guy. He's always positive and charming. Anyone who says something bad about them is more than likely the problem.”
“I have been here since this review and it’s completely different . Employees are the sweetest and everything’s well put together! They now have a produce section which is amazing! Love the manger and just overall a good DG to go to!”
“Very helpful lady an other folks in the store. Basically I almost live. In the store I do most of my shopping there when I need the certain. Stuff I can there an no where else at that price”
“Love iiiit! Nice location clean store the workers are nice the only problem I have is for the delivery truck driver's to deliver at each store I've been to they have weird entry ways for the delivery trucks it should always be a two-way entryway not a one way it makes it odd for the truck driver's to pull in & back up.”
“On Monday the 19th we stopped at the $ General. Our truck would not start after turning it off. Jose was on shift that day - He was so helpful and rushed outside and moved his truck and we were able to jump our vehicle. We were so appreciative and he did so w/a smile and genuine kindness. We offered him a 'tip' which he refused. Thank you again Jose for your help. Chris and Steve Bigelow”
“After being a Comstock resident for 2 years now seeing what this little corner of kzoo has to offer it seems the owner or GM has a soft spot for hiring Comstock residents who truly need a job. Sometimes they put hope into people who mean well but aren't totally ready. It has caused the issues you read about in all comments below but those in there working everyday are normal people just trying to make like the rest of us. It is nice though finally walking in and seeing they hired the most beautiful young lady I've seen this city ?”
“I love this Dollar general it's clean it's very bright on the inside and outside they have a wide variety of products and staff is very helpful it's the best money against the county so far in my opinion the dollar aisle is the best”

“This DG has the most helpful and friendly staff! Always end up striking a friendly conversation with them ?
However I do not like how corporate treats them. They are forced to run between stocking shelves and running the register all day. Like they have to literally jog from one to another. Hire an extra person to be a cashier!!!”
