“Lots of things to choose from. Though, the store doesn't live up to its name anymore. I saw an item there for $25! Now that's kinda ridiculous. But the store seemed clean & the staff was very friendly.”

2024 update: Every time I walk into this store I am surprised by how kind the staff is.
I appreciate how good the customer service is in this store considering how much stress they go through from both customers and management. Everyone is always super friendly.
I hope the staff of this store is recognized for both how well stocked/maintained it is and the high level of customer service they provide. I know how bad DG is with expecting their staff to multitask in almost impossible scenarios. (stock shelves+work register+theft security)

“I have lived in town for a few years but never made it in to DG until I had a FedEx drop off to take care of. DG is the only FedEx services location in Richmond.
I was talking into the store with an empty water bottle to throw away, and a kind associate grabbed a trash bin so I could throw my items away. I expect that kind of service at a fancy hotel, but not a convenience store. I learned the helpful associate’s name is Leslie.

“Hands down the best place to get holiday decorations and Christmas lights. I am always impressed by their deals and their variety of products. I also really like their gift basket selection, I almost always get my Christmas exchange gifts here. Have also been able to find decently priced home decor here. It is not high quality by any means, but it is similar to most big box stores.”

“Closest to home and has EVERYTHING that I would need! A very friendly cashier works there, she helped me find the right swifter duster. I was able to make a receipted exchange with no problems for a previous item I had bought three weeks prior.”
“Just a basic dollar tree. The cashier with a really long hair gave her 50 cents in change a quarter a diamond 3 nickels she went to count it and she had to set it all down and count it again.”

“Dollar Tree has set up all of their Valentine's Day items. Cards, candy, decorations, and balloons. The store is town is very clean and the expiration codes are up to date.”
