“I don’t know why people are so picky. First off the staff up at the front desk are awesome and so down to earth, 2nd they provide a small continental breakfast, but it’s only from 6 am-9-am, third they don’t take deposit but only if you’re not staying more than two days or so. Fourth, the location is great. The rooms feel actually clean, beds are nice, it’s quiet and comfortable. If you don’t have the need to go up to the gas station or anything they have some choices of food items and drinks but it is a pit more pricey. The only thing that sucks is carrying everything up the stairs, there is no elevator. But all in all, 10/10 for me.”

“We used the Locale for my daughter's bridal party to get ready during the day and to go back and forth to Salon U for hair & make-up. It was absolutely beautiful and the perfect place for such an occasion! The decor and vibe was very much what my daughter envisioned for her special day. Having a mini fridge and kitchen area was perfect for light snacks and drinks as well! Bride and groom returned to stay in the upstairs area after their reception and said it was just perfect!! Thank you for an amazing place to celebrate my beautiful daughter!”
“A group stay was setup for my family traveling for a funeral through Marne at the front desk and it was great. The location, amenities and service were all amazing. The rooms and lobby were clean and well kept. The breakfast was a good option especially as we headed out in the early morning. I highly recommend this hotel as it is also located near a lot of other great shopping and dining options.”

“My very first time staying at this hotel was in 2008 shortly after they’d done some renovations and stayed there multiple times over a 2 year span before I moved to the East Coast. I recently stayed there after many years and the stay was very pleasant. The rooms were still clean, comfy and convenient! Breakfast was nice and the staff were incredibly courteous and wonderful to interact with. The location is ideal for me when I have occasion to visit and I will certainly return!”
“Booked The Daxton in Birmingham for a wedding weekend and it ended up being one of the best hotel stays I’ve had in a long time. I’m not exaggerating when I say it might be the nicest Hilton hotel I’ve ever stayed at. From the moment we checked in, the service was incredible, friendly, quick, and on top of everything without being overbearing. The room was beautiful, super clean, and felt more upscale than your typical “wedding hotel” situation. The bed was absurdly comfortable, the kind where you instantly consider changing your life so you can sleep like that every night. I also appreciated the free waters and snacks, it sounds small, but it’s such a nice touch when you’re coming and going all weekend. We ended up spending a lot of time at the in-hotel restaurant and bar and both were amazing, which made the whole trip feel effortless. Phenomenal place all around, I’d stay there again in a heartbeat.”

“I came for the weekend from Canada in October for an anniversary trip, and this was truly a 10/10 stay. The staff here are the best I’ve ever encountered. Lamar and Kiro were incredibly welcoming, kind, funny and genuine. They made the entire experience feel special from start to finish. And Daris truly made our weekend, going above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay possible. I can’t thank him enough. The hotel itself was comfortable, clean, and exceeded all expectations. “My stay here was really good although I don't live in Michigan anymore I always try to stay in the Warren area when I come home to visit this was my first time staying here and I must say it was a good experience from check in to check out also I have to definitely give a shout out to the young lady who was on the morning shift Sunday 5/31/26 or maybe even the afternoon shift probably around 11:00 a.m. or 12:00 p.m. I had a billing issue with my card and she situated everything in literally like 5 minutes and got everything the way It was supposed to be I was told her name could possibly be Heather but she was very great very attentive and assured me that everything will be taken care of overall this was a great experience”

“Very clean, simple, modern amenities. Price was good. We stayed overnight while in town for an amphitheater concert. We found it from a blind kayak.com search. We reserved our room online, 10 minutes before arriving. Check in was easy. Room had everything we needed, up to and including Dove soap products and a hairdryer. Bed was very comfy, but pillows WAY too soft 👎. Bring your own sound machine, as the AC/heater doesn’t have a continuous fan…it will cycle on and off throughout the night. If you like a complete dark out experience you might find the illuminated headboard and armoire distracting. It bothered my husband, not me. Housekeeping staff went out of their way to wish us a good day in the hallway. Fitness center had the essentials for a post-travel workout: treadmill, row machine, ellipticals, treadmills, incline bench and flat bench + dumbbells up to 100lb. The continental breakfast was great: hot food + cold cereals, juice and on-demand ground coffee machine. Kitchen staff stood in the dining area to make sure food was replenished. All in all, great stay!”

“Came back home for my mother's 81st bday party. Brought the entire family and needed space for the 4 of us. The manager put us in a larger room and made sure we were well taken care of. Extra towels were needed and they were to us in about 7 minutes.
Although I had to drive back into the city for my events, my stay was peaceful and quiet.
I will be staying here from now on when I come back home to visit.”
“We stayed at the Homewood Suites in Troy and had a very positive experience. The hotel is very well located in a practical and safe area, with Walmart, Dollar Tree, and Marshalls literally right next door.
The room is very spacious and comfortable, especially for a longer stay, and the kitchen is very well equipped with great utensils and everything working perfectly. That really made a difference for us during the trip.
We would also like to especially recognize the housekeeper Jose, who was extremely helpful, kind, and attentive throughout our stay. He was always very friendly and thoughtful, and truly made our experience at the hotel even better.”

“I stayed at the Extended Stay in Madison Heights for three nights over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised by the quality for the price. While the hotel is older, everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The hallways were always quiet, which made for a peaceful stay. Every staff member I interacted with was polite, professional, and friendly.
The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the air conditioning kept the room perfectly cool. I appreciated having a kitchen in the room, and the front desk provided dishes and silverware upon request. The grab-and-go breakfast was simple but satisfying, with delicious coffee, a muffin, and a breakfast bar.
The location is convenient to the interstate, making it easy to get around, and parking was hassle-free. Overall, a great value and a comfortable stay — I would definitely return.”
“The room overall was a good experience. It stayed a bit stuffy/warm even turning the air on. We stayed on the 2nd floor.
Biggest reason for the review was Karen. She was soo hospitable. What’s sad is that’s really rare these days. She helped make our stay wonderful. There was also a night attendant that followed her shift and my interaction was brief with them. They were very kind as well. If this is a reflection of most of the staff, this location should count themselves fortunate.
Another note the pool and hot tub were great as well!”
“This hotel is quite nice.... We've been out of our home and do to a flood for 4 months.... Pretty much everything is nice. The breakfasts, the housekeeping, the staff , the cleanliness! One of the most exceptional staff members is Jude.... I don't think there's anything she cannot get accomplished. One note, if they could fix or replace the barbecue outside , that would be incredibly awesome! Living there for our home, for multiple months, it would be nice to barbecue outside.”
“May 2026: Good price for what we needed. Small indoor pool which was nice for the kids. One door to the pool did not lock which could be a safety risk for kids.
The rooms were clean and good sized but could use some retouching. Small things like lamp shades with little heat marks, carpet is worn and stain in some places.
Service seems to depend on who is at the desk. There were two employees yesterday. One was super friendly and helpful with issues, the other wasn't necessarily rude but you could tell she was annoyed having to answer any questions or get items.
The TV in our original room did not work. After a couple of attempts they moved us to a different room.
Small refrigerators in each room and our second room also had a microwave. Coffee makers in each room.”
