“My husband and I were short on our escrow and I wanted to pay it at the bank. I started out calling the Berkley branch. The customer service was terrible. The person at the Berkley branch would not take my calls after putting me into a vicious cycle with the automated system twice, this after assuring me, I would get a physical person. Frustrated, I called the Birmingham bank. After a very brief hold, I was told , Yes come in, we will help you. The difference in customer service was night and day. From The minute I walked in I was greeted by EVERYONE. Gidget helped me get my escrow shortage off, even waiting for my daughter to get back to us with information I didn't have. I felt like they put out a red carpet for me and its been a long time since Ive had customer service this good. Thank you Gidget and everyone the Birmingham office for your kindness, consideration and thoughtfulness. I will only use your branch in the future.”

“Don't often give these ratings on banks because I go to so many but... This bank is not only historical but very detailed inside if you look around (mainly up). They were very nice and helpful. Michelle Wilson was very informative and gave many options for my small business to thrive.Pros.1. Not packed - You can get in and out pretty quick most of the time.2. Multiple specialists - seems to always be more than one person in the office cubicles.3. Has weather covered indoor ATM 24 hours4. Front street and rear parking lot access for walkers or drivers. (Being downtown is important not to have to walk all the way around the building to enter it)Cons.1. Parking lot is very small2. Does not have drive-thru service”

“Issues are resolved ... but I had a few issues at this PNC bank branch. My debit card number was stolen and was being used fraudulently, and it took a few visits to the bank and phone calls to their 800 number to stop the card from being used and to restore my funds. Then I had received poor customer service inside the branch on my last visit to close my account. PNC customer service did call me to me to make things right, and I appreciate that effort. They resolved my issues in the phone call and apologized for my poor experience a their branch. (I have not been able to confirm whether it is possible to freeze a debit card from PNC's app if the card is lost or stolen yet, but their customer service agent assured me it is there now.) I'm giving them 4-stars for their efforts to make things right, and for taking my poor experience seriously. My issues resulting from the original fraudulent charges are resolved now, and it seems that they value good customer service.”
