I was quite taken back by how rude one of the ladies was at the paddle board yoga class. As a fitness instructor myself I can't imagine talking to someone like this woman spoke to my friend. The actual Instructor Crystal did a great job.

Great space, kind staff, been to a drum circle here twice and both times had a wonderful experience. Parking wasn’t bad either even with it being so close to downtown

Got the 5 for $15 newcomers deal and i love it! i’ve been taking basics classes so far but it’s still good and challenging. i took a monday night class with Jill and she was amazing. she was funny and motivating and knowledgeable. i’m actually going through a breakup and almost cried in class because of what she was saying. if you get the chance to take her class please do ?

Great Yoga Studio, plenty of variety, and consistencies of classes to maintain my practice of yoga. Ive been impressed by many workshops with great instructors and really have passion for their craft. The building where updog is located has a very calming and relaxing environment that has been decorated very nicely. Located right on main street in downtown Rochester there is free parking behind the building.

Hot yoga with Jacqueline is my absolute favorite. Shes challenging, offers modifications and adjustments. It’s a good blend of classic poses and a steady flow so my heart rate stays up while getting those good opening stretches in.

Very knowledgeable instructors. Even going here for the 5 for $15 intro deal (which is a very generous offer), I learned so much that I never learned from other studios. The instructors are amazing and the atmosphere is so peaceful. This place is wonderful. I'm loving my weekly and sometimes bi-weekly classes.

I do not recommend this yoga studio. I recently moved to the area so thought that I would try out their first class free. When I came in there was obviously a sales pitch to purchase five classes for $15 but I was not interested because I always like to try out yoga studios first to make sure it's the environment that is best for me to practice in. When I kept saying that I just wanted to do the first class free, it was still just constant pressuring. But that was really the least of the issues with the studio. During the class, the owner of the studio was the one teaching and made comments in a rude way saying that me and another student were doing the poses incorrectly. I'm all about getting feedback to improve my yoga poses but it was done in a way where it was extremely rude. The instructor then said to do it again because we were doing it wrong and called us out in a condescending manner. Later on in the class she introduced to a pose that I had never experienced before. I asked her if she could show it to me again. She replied back that she just got done showing me and implied I wasn't paying attention. I was so happy that this class was over with and also thankful that I did not purchase anything because this is definitely not the yoga environment that anyone should be practicing in. One thing that I love about yoga is how it is such a welcoming space that recognizes all ability levels. This yoga studio was anything but. I was shocked later on to find that the instructor (Jill) teaching the class was the owner. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. There are so many other yoga studios in the area that are way more inviting and welcoming.

This is a great yoga studio. I have tried a wide variety of classes and workshops, and all of the instructors have been helpful and knowledgeable. They always encouraged me to stay within my safe ability level and explained things well to ensure I understood what was going on. They also ensure you get what you are after, the slow flow and yin classes are on point when what I expect, with an emphasis on breathing and control. The building itself is in a fantastic location in downtown Rochester, and its the old library which has large open areas and windows which help curate the chill vibes of the whole studio.
