“Went in for an oil change and tire rotation. When i returned home and restarted my car an half hour later , i saw that the engine light was on. I called the dealership immediately. I had to return and they informed me a number of 'faults' ( over 10 i believe) were showing up that were not there earlier that morning.
They did get someone to look at it right away and finally determined that my battery was having intermittent low power periods? Not really clear what that was and since everything was fine prior to this, it was a bit confusing. I was told i needed a new battery and i'd have to wait another 45 minutes to have it replaced. Unfortunately, i really didn't have any more time that day so they reset the engine light and i left. They were very attentive about getting me back in to get the battery changed but I still don't know if the low battery triggered all the faults all of a sudden or there still are some unknown issues. It's been a week, the car runs fine and the engine light has never come back on. I started going there because of convenience and have had good service prior. I'm still debating taking it back there or going back to the dealership i purchased the car from. Either way i need to feel more comfortable with this.”

“One day I’ll get a Tesla. The staff is always friendly and the storefront is clean. I’m hoping prices will descend soon. I rented one while on a road trip through the SW and was pleasantly surprised.
A quick update, while I ended up getting another EV brand, the decision factors were so close and only off by dollars and few other factors. The Y is still a very nice vehicle; while its a very modern interpretation, personally I felt it was long in the tooth. And some of the charges just don't seem logical like the color of the interior ($1000 for white instead of black...it's still vinyl) or exterior ($1,000 more for another color, makes no sense because the alternatives are not exotic...I used to paint professionally). I think Telsa needs to work out some of these bugs because they seem illogical. Charging premiums just for the sake of it without any tangible value in my book is a no go.
