I worked with David for over 7 months. Honestly I'm not a big fan of working out, but he was really good at keeping up the conversation to distract me. I was concerned about injury when I first came in, but David really meets you at your level and customizes a program for you to help you meet your goals while avoiding hurting yourself. I would highly recommend David to anyone, but especially to anyone who wants to focus on specific goals with a coach that cares more about teaching you strong fundamentals than making you run until you pass out. David taught me that you don't have to kill yourself to get a good workout. Also, I have a much stronger appreciation for Milli Vanilli and George Michael now?

I haven't worked out in many years. David was just what I needed to kickstart my re-introduction into fitness losing 7.5 inches in 3 months. David focuses on quality not quantity and is not a hard core drill sergeant which is what I liked. As I got stronger David would add new challenges working my muscles in multiple ways. I am very thankful for David's knowledge, non judgmental and non pressure atmosphere. I look forward to continuing my journey!

I have been working out with David for almost a year. I am down 4 dress sizes! The biggest benefit of working out at Real Fitness is that it keeps me accountable and consistent. This has always been the most challenging part of weight training workouts. Along with modifying my diet the weekly work outs make all the difference.

His program is very good, he really knows how to figure out a healthy way to eat, that you can put into your daily life style.. i have arthritis in the knees, and we had to work around that.. He was good working with that... which was wonderful.. I lost 16 inches of total body fat... Very happy about that.. I went 2 times a week 3 months... i would recommend his program.

I loved working with David! He helped me get back into a fitness routine. He designed workouts for my fitness level and encouraged me every step of the way. He was very knowledgeable and I learned so much working with him for 4 months. He got me back into regularly working out and I am so grateful for his help and expertise. David was so nice to work with, I was nervous about getting started but he was very encouraging and helped put me at ease. He developed a great training program and the food program he worked with me was very accommodating. In our 40 visits I was able to lose 16lbs and the inches were the biggest reward. I went down almost 2 sizes and I felt better about myself. I feel like he set me up with a program I can continue on my own, it was the jump start I needed.

David did a great job of meeting me where I was at in my fitness journey and assisting with my growth. I worked with him for 3 months and lost 6lbs. More than the weight, the real difference I found is in my mentality toward food, how I feel, and how my clothes fit. I would highly recommend working with David Modderman as your trainer; He knows his stuff.

This was an awesome experience! My goal was to gain strength and learn how to utilize equipment properly without feeling discouraged.
