“As a full time caregiver for aging family, this place provides an affordable break from an otherwise stressful life. I appreciate the usual quiet, the location near trees, the bathtub, the tidy appearance. It can get loud and “vibrational” with guests on both sides of you, which was true of this last visit, but nothing earplugs can’t fix.
Rooms: Everything you need in a compact, and neat and tidy, space.”

came in the other day for some indicators and some tips for Au Sable, ended up fishing the nearby mantisee per their recommendation, and got on some fish. would absolutely recommend.”

“It was FILTHY. So dirty!
They said they were under renovation.
We checked into our room and I wiped the laminate floor because it was dirty. The white washcloth was black! And full of hair and dirt!
I brought the cloth to the front desk. I asked if they had any fully renovated brand new and clean rooms?
She said no.
It looked like someone slept in the beds. Sheet weren’t clean. No mattress pad cover on the mattress. Toilet had hair on it. Sink was dirty .
Dirts and crud in the corners of the bathroom.
The Ramada was awful and filthy and Gross!
I would absolutely not recommend or stay there. Yuck!”
“4 adults stayed 2 nights. It is a quiet place to stay, the rooms are comfortable, and we all slept well. We found the rooms to be clean and a good place to relax. Outside there is enough space for a group to gather together and spend some time. There is also a place to build a bonfire if you want to.
The owners are pleasant to deal with and made the reservations process easy. We had to make some adjustments with our reservations and it was painless. They are dog friendly and have reasonable pet rates.”
