“Magnificent. This place is the definition of discount grocery excellence. Americans must keep in mind that Aldi originated in Europe, and sells many products that are catering to European tastes, which are not the same as American tastes. But they are all quite good to excellent products, and exceptionally reasonably priced. They have recently installed self scan checkout counters at this location, which only accept payment by card. The high speed checkout people in the attended lanes are a bit intimidating for a newcomer, but it is part of the Aldi efficiency experience, and means the attended check-out lanes move quickly. They may not stock everything you seek, but they will have most of your desired groceries on the shelf, and you will be amazed at how much less money you will spend. When you add their pleasant customer service, Aldi rates a solid 5 stars.”

“They have clothes, shoes, a few kitchen wares and nice backs to choose from. I have found some gems there. Sometimes they have furniture to give away. The food items are mostly can goods, some fresh veggies, bread, cereal, you get a pack of hot dogs and a bag of chicken. Sometimes snacks. The can goods, hotdogs and chicken are a mainstay. Everything else changes as it is received. Worth it.”

Gotta appreciate the prices and the quality of their fresh foods, in what is nearly a food desert area. The whole area is improving, finally, and Aldi was smart to put a good grocery store right on 2 buslines so that more folk can have accessible organics, quality meats and dairy, and some of their non food items are very useful to have locally”

“I love this store. I have been shopping at Parkway since before they moved to their current location in the old Farmer Jack on Jefferson. The meat is top notch and at far cheaper and better than any place except maybe Eastern Market. They have actual butchers that can break down an animal and they do. Not everything is cheap.......like most stores. I shop most everywhere, Aldi, Kroger.... every week so I know the prices The owner is always getting deals like Triscuits for a buck a box NOT OUTDATED. I would drive to Rochester to see if I could find that deal there but heard traffic was backed up on Rochester Road. Meat people very helpful and present if you want something special or have a question. I have had a lot of special meat orders throughout the years. I also like the checkout people, fun and friendly. “If you are looking for a place to be a blessing to others this is it. Capuchin services not only provides food and clothing to individuals families going through a rough patch. They also have a small area dedicated to a home goods and some entertainment items such as books and tapes. While I was there a family who had just experienced a fire was being helped. Their reach goes beyond the building. They coordinate with another local agencies and provide assistance with furniture, housing, job-seeking and readiness. This is a great volunteer opportunity, especially for students trying to complete their community service hours for high school credit. The entire building is highly accessible for those in wheelchairs or with other types of unlimited mobility. For those unable to come in, they offer the opportunity for you to send a representative. This service agency truly fills the gaps that many of our neighbors fall in unbeknown to us. They definitely need and deserve our support.”

“Overall I love fresh farms! It's a nice homey little market vibe while still having good food and brands. The food is delicious, wherever you get pizza or chicken tenders or anything. The pizza and cheesy bread can be a little too herby for me sometimes but still good. The ranch is the best too! The employees are nice and very helpful.”

“Let's start with this: this place is definitely deserving of five stars! It has an absolutely gorgeous selection of almost everything. It almost feels like an Italian market because of all of the Italian food that they have. They have one of the best meat cases you will ever see with just beautiful cuts, and an unbelievable deli with a center area that has lunch food that you can reheat. It looks great. So why didn't I give it five stars? They were just some little things that I felt I needed to differentiate. The isles are very small, so if it really ever got busy, it would be a pain going through it. Everyone was very nice though and I just have to say again that this place deserves five stars. But I'm giving it for to warn my loyal followers that there is another Vince and Joe's that apparently is bigger. I will rate that one at a different time. So if the size doesn't matter, add a star and enjoy.”

The snacks corner offers super tasty foods, and I am thankful to them for providing us with the opportunity to try some of our Deshi flavors. The Fuchka could be better, but that's alright because there was only one lady managing all the customers and taking their orders.”
