Terrible excuse of a business the “workers” or if that’s what you want to call them are extremely lazy and rude, they lock the doors and will look at you through the window as if you did something wrong, UNPROFESSIONAL at its best, there are only carts for inside units will is very inconvenient and time consuming will placing heavy items in or out. DO NOT USE THIS the reviews are lies

The stuff at 5060 Coolidge highway in Royal Oak,, MI. were extremely helpful and polite. Always with a smile and helped me choose the right storage unit.

Terribly ran. Nobody ever in the office and they don’t return calls! Move out was a nightmare and they ended up charging us 2 months past vacate because the lock was left on. However, we tried twice to return keys and nobody in the office during business hours on two diff days. 1-800 number attendant said no worry since our account access codes have been disabled we are all set and no more charges will occur. But guess what….they charged us again…stating it was bc the lock was still on. However, we could not get in (due to disabled gate code) to leave the lock and key at the desk…and again no employee and no answer on the phone. Save your time and money and go elsewhere!!UPDATE: we finally got a person and got the lock removed and completed the move out ONLY TO HAVE THE MANAGER BOB REOPEN OUR ACCOUNT AND RESTART AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS FOR A UNIT NOT OCCUPIED AND ALREADY VACATED!! Unbelievable!! This guy is a piece of work, not trustworthy, do not waste time at this location, they are running me in circles just because I chose to vacate? Guess they are desperate for business and desperate enough to do business unethically and with zero regard for the consumer.

I moved out of my unit April 29th there was no one in the office to help and no one answers the phone. I got charged for a whole month plus a late fee and went up there to pay on May 8th. I was told I didn't have to pay because I moved out before the 1st. Now I'm getting calls and emails stating that I owe if that was the case why not take the money and check the storage unit when I was there on May 8th.

I had never rented a storage unit before. I needed to rent one and have access to it on a Thursday. When I showed up at 6:30pm, none of the access options were working. It was super frustrating because I was moving within the next few days and didn't have any spare time to lose. The only option I had was to call a hard to find number and leave a message, where it took another full day to hear back. They told me they reset my code and access options, and it should now work. I tried accessing it again and it still didn't work. Eventually I was able to find someone to help me and get my access codes to work. Would not recommend if needing a storage unit in a time crunch.

We needed to find storage since we are doing a home re-model. Had a great experience with the employees - they were very helpful and professional. I highly recommend this location. Unit clean as well as the grounds. Great find.

Customer service is some of the worst I've encountered. You know the type, bad attitude and lack of helpfulness when overcharged for services. Both employees I requested help from getting a small amount of money returned to me were non-communicative and generally hostile to my multiple polite requests for assistance. Also, beware the lock purchase charge and insurance charge that you decline will appear on your account regardless of your instruction. Take your Zoloft before talking to these surly, unhelpful zombies.

Seeing as how no one was there to assist with the SEVERAL issues I encountered. I had to leave and find another location where someone was WORKING. I'm irate at the inconvenience. And my paying movers to not move because NO ONE WAS THERE!!!!!!
