The lady running the store was incredibly kind and understanding when I needed to exchange my last-minute swim trunks purchase I made on Mackinac Island. The crab swim trunks I originally bought weren't to my liking, but she graciously allowed me to choose a different pair that I actually preferred. It turns out the store on the island is part of their chain, which made the exchange process even smoother. I left the store happy with my new swim trunks and grateful for the excellent customer service.”

    “⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 Experience! I was looking for a special item I had seen at one of their stores on Mackinac Island back in 2024 but couldn’t find it anywhere this year. I called Tropic North in St. Ignace, and the amazing employee went above and beyond to help me. She searched through her inventory, found exactly what I was looking for, and is mailing it to me at home! Truly incredible customer service. I highly recommend this store—and all their locations—for any unique gift or keepsake from your trip. So thoughtful and helpful!”

    “2nd time visiting Mackinac City and had to find the shirt shop that I could make my own custom hoodie at like last time. I had gotten so many compliments and great conversations started w it. It was my favorite comfy hoodie..and it disappeared. They are super helpful and you don't feel rushed, with lots of choices. You can have something on the front, down both sleeves, and on the hoodie pocket (probably the back too). I love that you can make it your own and not just the same old on a rack somewhere, and their patience while you create it. Hopefully I can post a picture of my new one w the Mackinac Bridge😁 You should check them out!”

    “There are a LOT of shops to browse on Main Street, but Destination Mackinac is one of my favorites! It feels a bit more elevated without being stuffy. They have a decent selection of 8.2 merch for anyone like me who wants to commemorate their completion of the 8.2 mile bike loop around the island. I also grabbed some fun illustrated bookmarks and postcards.”

    “Just your standard tourist trap with souvenirs. They have some decent sale prices if you look in the back. If I remember correctly the floors are creaky and run down but it's right downtown Mackinaw so might as well stop by and see it”

    Primark added two states to its U.S. map in six days, then stalled in Augusta. The value retailer opened its first Minnesota store on Sept. 3 at Mall of America in Bloomington, close to 35,000 square feet stocked with Minnesota Vikings gear through the chain's NFL partnership.
