“One of the best in Ann Arbor as proceeds remain in the community and benefit the schools. Large selection of jewelry. Nice fitting rooms. Collection of clothing is nice, clean and presented. Some items may appear overpriced, but with the discount color tag days, bargains are to be had! One drawback for me is the debit/credit card fees! Carry cash to get your full bargain.”
“This store is always clean and well organized. You can tell everyone takes pride in their work and it's a great place to find discount items. I love their mission!”
“My daughter took me to the Kiwanis Thrift store so I could find a birthday present. It was a huge building with everything a person could want. The furniture selection was vas and varied. I ended up with a beautiful old " secretary" desk. It was just like the one I grew up with. Then I found dresser and a chair. All 3 cost $98. You can't beat that. The service is wonderful. The people are willing to help with your needs.”

“One of my favs for clothing and books around A2! They're busy, so they move through a lot of inventory, which means you'll likely see new items each week. Pay attention to pricing on their everyday products - a lot of thrift stores have increased their prices indiscriminately, Salvation Army unfortunately has followed suit. You can still find good deals, just need to pay more attention.”
“The system to shop here is a little complicated and mostly online. They don’t really ensure the quality of the things that you purchaseso I consider it a type of gambling to buy stuff from here. That said you can get some pretty good deals so it is good for what it is.”
“We are international travelers and went to the store at our son’s recommendation!!! So glad we did. Susan was an absolute delight, when she learned we are from India she welcomed us & indulged us no end. We will definitely visit on our subsequent trips back. Thanks Susan!!”

“Best GW store in the area! What people don't realize is that you can't donate junk and has to be of value. I've witnessed people throwing a fit because they wouldn't accept there dirty pans, appliances and small children's toys that are a choking hazard to little ones. Some clearly throw all their trash into a bag and think they are a saint and believe GW will wash the clothes before selling. They don't have washers/dryers nor the staff to do that. With all that said, they have a great selection and do well with what they have. I highly recommend!”
“Very friendly staff. Love going for my boys I get great deals on their clothes and they’re in great shape. I have gotten two brand néw kids winter jackets with tags on them for under 10.00 totally worth it! Donating there is very easy as well pull around in the back and they help get it everything out of your car that you want to donate. You have a great weekend It is a smaller goodwill and I will say it stays super busy so shelves can be sometimes look bare but there is always a treasure for someone. Weekends can be very busy. I have noticed to get better selection during the week.”
