“I’ve loved Thrift Depot since day one and am so grateful to have this little shop in our town. It may be small but so many of my most loved thrifted items are from this shop. The prices are GOOD compared to most bigger chain resale stores where prices have skyrocketed over the last handful of years. They are always so pleasant and friendly in the shop, it’s organized and clean and always stocked. The folks who run the place are never sitting still. You can tell they love what they do and our community loves them back. If you live in Ypsi or are visiting definitely pop in!”
“I love finding thrift stores. There is something deeply nostalgic about walking into a place filled with items that have already lived through stories, travelled through different homes, and somehow found their way here, waiting to begin a new journey with someone else.
The two volunteers at the counter were so knowledgeable and kind, and I appreciated the newspaper clippings on the walls that reminded me this was not just an ordinary shop, but part of a real community initiative. Being located near the library made it even more special.

“My brother and I were checking out within five minutes of the store closing. We had a great experience with the cashier, and the other employee.
(Unfortunately, they make you pay money for a bag--which was not a problem we were able to carry our items ourselves, and did not need to purchase a bag.)
I am a business major and I have worked customer service ever since I started working. So that is no surprise to me, but the cashier, my brother, and I, had a great discussion about that policy.
As someone who doesn't like to go out, I had a great experience with the employees at this location, and I will definitely shop there again!
Goodwill always has one of a kind items, that you can't find anywhere else.”
