“I love TJ max and this store always has a good selection of clothing and home decor.
The only issue is I dread checking out. The cashiers always push signing up for the credit card and are very annoyed each time I decline. They ask multiple times and then make sure to say oh but you would have saved $10 dollars this time and it always makes for such an awkward and uncomfortable experience. Like I don’t want the credit card. This is the one store I wish had self checkout so I could avoid the staff. Sometimes it’s so bad they push the credit card on you when you first walk in the door as you arrive and it’s like calm down now. I haven’t even committed to buying anything. Let me look around. Good stuff, great prices, awkward and annoying staff encounters.”

BEWARE!
The store is going through re-modeling, or something, and it was a MADHOUSE - at lunchtime, on a Wednesday. I can't imagine how many shoppers are there in the evenings/weekends!
The staff is doing the best they can with what they have, so give 'em a break. It's the customers you have to watch out for. I bypassed a couple great looking items and sales because of isle traffic and rude shoppers. I'm sure it will be awesome when finished, and don't blame those there to help you ”

“I was happy with my experience here. One of the only three locations in the upper peninsula of Michigan. Using their mobile app, I was able to find everything I needed in the store. Hopefully their business continues to grow in the upper peninsula of Michigan so that they can add more stories to other towns that need them. I find that they have very helpful customer service.”
