“Great place for name branded sneakers/boots, especially for those that are collectors/resellers, to add to their list. Not too sure if this location/stores carries orthopedic sneakers outside of types of shoe brand NB (new balance). I love this style of retail where the customer doesn’t get bombarded with “sometimes” annoying salespeople trying to upsell certain brands. I like the fact that you can go into the area, sit and try on some pairs w/o any fuss. This is coming from a person that has worked in retail for over 20+ years. It’s been a minute since I’ve gone to this store/company, but I get really annoyed with places like footlocker. I always feel like the establishment doesn’t teach proper etiquette when it comes to servicing customers. I’m the type of person, if I need anything, I’ll come to you. Hopefully one day retail will change their ways on how to approach/sell to the public. After Covid hit, it seems that the new wave/ways of selling associates has changed, some sales people are down right rude/arrogant. If I walk into place, and I feel “they’re” pushing (upselling) products outside of the one thing you came there for, I’ll literally put the product down, and leave…..especially when you/I know the brand/item you’re looking for. The rule I was taught, is once eye contact is engage, you ask open ended questions, or compliment something. For instance, my intro isn’t just, “hi how are you today”, instead I would compliment the customer with, “I like the the color shirt you’re wearing.” When you ask those types of questions (PAY ATTENTION RETAIL SALESPEOPLE). Be kind/be genuine/be yourself, and not to get too ahead of yourself when you’re selling products, remember you’re not only selling the brands in the business, but you’re selling yourself……everything else will follow. If you’re lucky, that one customer will only come to you for purchasing.”
“We had the BEST experience ever here today! Robin was so knowledgeable, kind and helpful. She was able to find a pair of shoes for my husband immediately after we were searching for a bit. Everyone there was nice, they have a great selection, great prices and it's so clean. We will definitely be back soon!”
“I purchased a pair of extra wide men's walking shoes after foot surgery. Shoes were extra depth and provided space for orthotics and swollen foot. After enjoying the comfortable shoes for a few days an eyelet tore and while a minor failure, I had to adjust the length of the shoelace and not tie all the way up. I sent pictures and a brief note regarding the inconvenience and a new pair of shoes arrived a few days later.Excellent customer service went above and beyond my expectations. Glad to see some companies still stand behind the products they sell! Also thanks to Mt. Emey for awesome warranty coverage. When I need a special sized shoe again the Orthotic Shop and Mt. Emey will be my first choice. I highly recommend them both for great products and customer satisfaction.”
“Had to check my receipt to get the guys name. Greg 10/10. I can't believe how patient. Now I smile when I put on boots. Changing how much I appreciate my job.”

“Stopped in here with my fiancé to grab some shoes and we had the pleasure of working with Marcus. He was so friendly, so helpful and a genuinely nice person. You don't get to meet a lot of nice people anymore and he was great! Thanks Marcus for being amazing”
“Was recommended to come here to find shoes for my son who has leg braces. When we walked in we were instantly greeted by Adelina who immediately said “yes we have lots of kids come in with orthotics”. She worked fast and efficiently to get a proper measurement of his feet and went straight to the back and brought several pairs to try. Unfortunately my son’s braces are super stiff and after 4 different pairs nothing was fitting on. Oh well it happens. If I could give more stars I would.Adelina gets five ⭐️ as does the business as a whole.”
