U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer offers truck rentals, trailers, cargo vans, and pick-up trucks for local or one-way moves. They provide moving supplies and U-Box containers available for online reservation. Customers have noted that the open-out doors are more convenient than roll-up doors, especially for older individuals. The staff is generally helpful in setting up rentals, but there have been concerns about unauthorized charges, such as the addition of a safe drive fee without consent. Some customers experienced issues with follow-up communication after check-in. However, the location is appreciated for providing free air hoses for public use, which has helped customers with slow leaks during their travels. Overall, the service has room for improvement in communication and transparency.
I visited U-Haul with the intention of figuring out what I needed to for my bike rack to work with my hitch. Darnell went above and beyond to help me find a solution. I ultimately didn't end up needing anything from U-Haul, which is why I found Darnell's customer service especially impressive. Thank you for your help!

Have the open-out doors available. The roll up doors are difficult for older folks. The attendant was very helpful and got me all set up. Since they are not open on Sunday I had to pay for an extra day and get my unit on Saturday.
