“ONLY garage I have found to be open, honest, and trustworthy. The prior garages I've gone to,(for this EXACT SAME ISSUE) wouldn't tell me WHY they're probably not able to find the culprit of why my Brakes are squeaky and makes a grinding noise, that stops and doesn't return until it's been sitting a while again.
I get it that the other places WANT to make money, and they do so by people coming back constantly, but COME ON!! Tell your clients what's possibly going on, (ESPECIALLY WHEN I have come in 2 separate times for this problem, from fear of it disabling my vehicle) and WHY you CANT find the problem.
This place MIGHT cost a little more, but it REALLY WONT BE MUCH more, and it's TOTALLY WORTH IT, when you KNOW they are being honest with you, and wanting to keep you safe.”

“Noah and the team really took care of my daughter (MTU Student) recently. A previous repair shop did not torque a ball joint nut properly that came loose - The team at NorthStar did a proper inspection and made a quick repair at a fantastic price. The digital inspection report with pictures and videos are the best I have ever seen and is absolutely the benchmark in the industry. I wish they were closer to home for me, but at least I now have someone in Houghton that I can trust to take care of my daughter's car while away from school. I highly recommend this team!”

The gentleman was super kind and towed us to the mall parking lot so we wouldnt have to change the tire on the side of the main road, then didnt charge us for the tow. “Okay place their car wash is hit or miss. It doesn't seem to use much soap in the automatic wash. My truck has came out still dirty. I guess that's what you get for your money. “Had a flat tire about 45 minutes N. of Hancock. We were by a store, no cell service. Store called Dave's & a man & tow truck was out in about 40 minutes. Put the spare (donut tire) on we needed to follow him back to station to get tire patched. They took care of it right away, ck'd other tires & had us out in about 35 minutes. They were so kind & helpful. The tow driver was a young man who didn't waste time, got job done & the young lady who repaired my tire & put it back on our car, was super. I topped my gas tank off & they did that too. We are so thankful for what they did as we were traveling through there on vacation. If you live in the area, and need gas or service, see Dave's”
