“It's a kosher butcher so the prices will be substantially higher then your local supermarket but the service is super friendly and they have a nice variety of kosher meats. I'll call ahead and they go out of their way to set aside specific cuts for me even though I'm showing up right after closing. Great customer service!”

“Just went here for the first time, based on their Facebook video. The store is small but packed with the tons of great deals. When I arrived the parking lot was packed so I set in my car debating if I was going to go inside. I'm glad I did. They have some really good deals, especially if you are buying a lot. The ribs were $10 a slab, and wings were $5.99 a bag. I think I was in and out in under 15 minutes, and that was on Christmas eve. I'll definitely be back after the holiday's”

“Love the steaks here, its a little pricey but best prime beef in the area. overall, the place is a little on the expensive side which is the only reason for the 4 star and not 5. Otherwise 5/5!”

“Best store, best employees, best selection and always clean. I love shopping here. It’s a far drive from where I live, but it’s worth it. I’ve been coming here for years. Have you tried their hummus? It’s the best around. I’ve yet to find one better than theirs.”

“Walked into this place on a whim, and I was pleasantly surprised. Whoever the young butcher man is 100000/10, he accommodated me even though I was coming in late and had a long request. So nice, professional, and helpful. I don’t know if he’s the owner but if he isn’t give him a raise!”

“This made my holiday! Chitlins are my favorite food but I don’t have often because I don’t feel like cleaning AND the overall availability plus price increases have made it hard. This year my mom surprised us by purchasing 50lbs of these pre cleaned chitlins which made it so much easier. She was able to quickly go through them and like many said it was well worth it not to sort through the filth you usually deal with. I’d be happy to purchase again.”

“Only a bit crowded, but the food is worth it. The chicken is a must try because of the quality. It’s a simple place with simple dishes, but a complex taste I cannot describe. It’s very busy so be careful”

“Alghadeer is my go-to meat market in Dearborn. The quality here is unmatched—fresh, clean cuts every time. Their organic chicken breast is top-notch, and the lamb chops are some of the best I’ve had. You can really taste the difference in quality. Consistent, reliable, and always well-stocked. Highly recommend!”

“I love going to Harvard Row, which is the last of many stand alone butcher shops. They cut steak for me to order, butterfly my chickens, and “feel” very traditional (in the realm of kosher butcher shops). They give great cooking and preparation advice, too!”

“Just a small neighborhood store that stocks basic items. One plus is that they had paper goods available when the larger chains were completely out.One minus is the lack of pharmacutical items like sleep aids, vitamins or cold medicines.”

“Have not had any issues from this place. Been coming for years. The meat always fresh, great people that offer great customer service. Small little market to pickup things you may have forgot if they offer it.”

“We were in Troy and decided to try this place based on a friend's recommendation, specifically for their pomfret. We called ahead to place an order over the phone. However, when we arrived for pickup after 30 minutes, we were told the order hadn't been prepared yet. That was disappointing, especially since we were told it will be ready in 20 minutes. The staff apologized and asked us to wait a few minutes, but we chose to leave and return later.

To their credit, they called us about five minutes before closing to let us know the order was ready and check if we were still coming. I appreciated that follow-up.

I was a bit hesitant at that point, not sure about the quality given the earlier mix-up, especially since the price was also lower than what we usually pay for pomfret.

But once we cooked it, wow! The quality of the fish was excellent and fresh. Definitely worth it in the end. Another plus, there is an Indian store right next door, so it's convenient if you're planning to shop while you wait or pick up other groceries.

If they can tighten up their order-handling process a bit, this would be a 5-star experience. For now, I'm giving 4 stars for the great product and their effort to make things right.”
