Highly recommend, under GREAT management, the inside and outside of the shop is very clean and organized, water, tea or coffee is also included. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and honest. I usually don’t allow shops to work on my car but I feel really comfortable bringing my car for business.

Updated 5/24/24: I’ve been coming here for many years, but after Tom the mechanic retired, it was clear that they were not staffed well to do routine things… so I took my vehicles elsewhere… until now. Sarah and crew won me over with a great first experience with the new management and ownership. It’s mid-afternoon on Friday of Memorial Weekend, my check engine light came on and 2 other auto places couldn’t see me. Midas had cars in every bay and I thought no way they’d get me in today. Sarah was very welcoming and knowledgeable. She got me in and fixed my car herself, within 90 minutes on a busy day!!! The same honest service that had me coming before, will make Southgate Midas my go to place again. They now are obviously more well staffed, and continue with great service that also has a friendly neighborhood shop feel.

A portion of my wife's tailpipe fell off on her way to work today. She drove to Southgate Ford where we purchased the Escape. $97 for the tech to tell her she needed a new exhaust system (middle and rear sections) = $1267. She took it to Southgate Midas instead for their estimate. No diagnostic fee and out the door for $208, no need for a new exhaust system. Tailpipe replaced SAME DAY at Southgate Midas (thank you Midas for honest service for a fair price). Also, they didn't have parts in stock but called and got them and vehicle was ready by the end of the day.
This is not a one time GREAT JOB AT AN HONEST PRICE. 20 years ago when a Honda dealer told my wife (then fiancé) that she needed $850 in brake work, Tom put it up on the lift at Southgate Midas and showed me no leaks in the brake line and a lot of life left on the brakes- telling me that he wouldn't recommend any work at the time. Every experience over the past 20 years has been similar. Highly recommended but more importantly highly trusted.

Got the job done same day and were polite and respectful during the whole process. I voiced my concerns about the price and they were willing to work with me to make it more affordable. Afterwards there was an issue with one of my hubcaps, I told them and they ordered a 4 pack for me, free of charge.

No brakes, called Midas, spoke with Jimmy, and I was taken right in. Showed me my brakes, rotors, and calipers were shot, all the way around! Parts ordered, car repaired, and I couldn't be happier! Horrible customer service… I’ve had to call consumer relations a total of 3x because of a bill that was over 3k… they did not fix the problem and after 3 visits they still can’t fix the problem. Now they chalk it up to engine damage…or fuel injectors.. they don’t know. also the manager called my engine junk and got upset I suggested small claims court. They guess and throw parts at the car hoping it will be fixed.. crooks, will take your money and not fix a thing.
