  Prices are high here. I have seen dollar store items withdollar tree tags on it and the SA price is 50%higher. They used to sell China sets but now they mark each and every piece and break up the sets. All tea cups are one price the plates another. I don't like that. I also will see the exact same item two or three of them and each one has a different price tag. If you ask about it you will get yelled at. If you see something without a tag don't fall in love with it. They will not sell it to you. I don't donate here anymore becasue they are rude and too picky. I arrived to donate 2 min before the open time and the man got mad and told me to come back later they were not open. The time before that I was question as to what I was donating. He opened the bags and said we don't like so many clothes. So I just go elsewhere now.

  Customer service is horrible. Especially the bald guy who was screaming at a customer that was donating because they got out of their vehicle and that they had to wait so they could be on camera. They left and so did i. That is no way to talk to someone. I will not be going to this location ever again. They also need to clean it up a bit. Its rather dirty all the time now.

  Today I witnessed, an elderly African-American Woman, at the Thrift store, on Eureka road in Southgate Michigan, BEING HARASSED BY EMPLOYEES !!!!On the day of October 19th, Time 5:45 PM, I decided to stop at the thrift store on Eureka road in Southgate Michigan, I was walking around with a buggy just looking around,, and heard two people arguing one was an African American woman, who look to be in her 70s, the two workers behind the counter, a young lady and man, in their early 20's or 30s, Caucasian, I myself, an American Indian, as I was waiting in line, the young man was still arguing with the elderly African, lady she was very upset, the cashier, Man was laughing, if I could describe his behavior he was taunting her, Just then an Elderly, African American, Gentleman, walked over to the counter and, handed money to the Cashier Man, that kept arguing with the elderly womanI assumed he paid for his items, and he walked around me and Had Items in his hand and inline still across from me, The argument With the elderly African-American lady, still going, I thought how immature of this young man cause this woman, was so upset, I was worried she might have a heart attack, Just then the Female, Cashier, told the African American, Elderly Man, Sir, I am so sorry you have to hear that, ( He told the Cashier, well lady, that's why I paid for her items first, to stop the argument, ) An act of random Kindness, of which, the Young Caucasian, Man Cashier, Didn't tell The African American Elderly, Lady, until he over heard the Elderly African AmericanMan, Tell The Caucasian lady cashier, he had paid for her items, and couldn't understand why they were still arguingThen The Man Cashier, tells the African American, Elderly Lady,That the Gentleman, paid for her items, she left in a hurry, Now what if she would have got mad and just left the cashier would have kept the money, was this what he had in mind ?The Date on the 19 of October, around 5: 48 to 6:00 The owner should roll back the video, and see how( Elderly African American, People, Are Treated, by these 2 workers, who work on that day and time, and a reminder, God Sees All, ? and God Bless the African American Elderly Man, who paid for her Items.?

  The location is overall clean and tidy and pretty well organized, staff is polite and friendly. My issue is with pricing (which may be on corporate, not necessarily individual locations?). At this point we all know people are reselling thrift finds at absurd markups online, but the inflated prices *in store* are getting ridiculous. For people who rely on thrift stores as their primary resource for things like clothing its hardly worth it to shop at Salvation Army when you could get a similar item new for the same price at Meijers. There’s definitely some stuff worth the inflated prices, but it’s still very much pricing out people.

  Very high prices for a thrift store. $50 for a second hand midsize outdoor rug is outrageous.

  Very clean and organized. No public restrooms, staff was rude about it. Wouldn't shop here again but decent place.

  Great, clean store. I wish clothes were sorted by size. It discourages one from looking because it's so time consuming.

  Pros ...decent prices, 50 percent off color tag days, vending machines, cons can't try on because of covid, no restroom, closes at 7 instead of 9 not open on Sundays.
