Hubby and I went to pick up our order this past MOnday morning (2-19-24). There are 11 spaces and when we got there, only one space was open. It was very busy, it appeared there was only one young lady working and she was constantly back and forth with orders. SOme of them were very large orders, consisting of three or four carts full of items. A lot of them heavy cases of water. SHe kept a smile and a positive attitude while she kept going and assisting customers. When she got to us, the first thing she did was apologize. I told her there wa no reason for that, but I did appreciate it. I thanked her for her positive demeanor and told her to hang in there. She smiled and thanked me. She said being busy makes the day go by fast. Just a great representation of a Sam's Club employee. I asked her her name, and I believe it was Ariana, or Adriana. Please make sure she sees this and please acknowledge her !! She deserves it !!!

Everytime I come to this location the wait is ridiculous. I waited 30mins at the customer counter for a return just to be told I have to wait at the jewelry counter and did so for an additional 30mins whilst I watched associate after associate wander past me without so much as asking if I'd been helped. I will never come to this location again. I have never had such a WASTE OF TIME just for a RETURN!

* UPDATING REVIEW TO 1 STAR*I cannot believe I never even got a response to this!!! I mean, Wow! Really? Even Subway offered to fix my sub!#stillinshockoversamsYeah, well my rating had to drop as I hurt myself pretty bad in the Southgate location yesterday. Ripped a chunk of my arm off on one of their shelves. NEVER EVEN GOT AN APOLOGY FROM THEM. No. I didn't need stitches, but, then again, you can't stich it when it's been Ripped out in chunks! I will definitely have a scar.

I love coming here. I feel like the staff is super kind and attentive if you need help and you get good deals for certain items. The downside is that team lead. I think her name is Courtney. Whenever I see her she is always talking down to her employees or is constantly talking smack about the employees and it’s very unprofessional and makes the shopping experience uncomfortable. Again I love coming here but she needs to be trained in professionalism if she is a member of leadership

I'll preface this by saying I rarely take the time to write reviews; however, I'm extremely disappointed with this Sam's Club location as of lately. They are often out of our needed products, and their order pickup service is awful. I don't blame the staff as they are very friendly and professional, but the past two times I've picked up an order (at different times of day) it has literally been a 30 minute wait. That's ridiculous. We won't be renewing our membership in January and will be joining BJ's instead.***I use order pickup because I'm a busy working mom. It's really, really frustrating being stuck in a small parking lot that's hard to even reverse out of and wait for a grocery order with zero updates. Especially if you have places to be, kids in the car, etc. It'd truly be quicker to go in the store!

i love my local sam's. been coming here for 8 years now. it's so convenient knowing it's next door. the staff is friendly. the only thing is they don't return food even though that it is unopened. they're return policy changes a lot based on who is working.

The customer service at this one sucks, I was there 2days ago and when I was leaving I slipped in a OIL SPILL AT THE FRONT DOOR and busted my leg on my cart I pull myself up with the cart immediately look behind me and here's a girl just standing there wiping down carts, like nothing happened I asked "what the hell is that I just slipped in? She says OIL calmly and undisturbed I immediately went back into the service desk to tell them and they shrug it off and laid mat down after about 20 min of ppl walking thru it nobody cleaning it at all there's seniors that could fall and get seriously hurt and they did nothing I will drive to Livonia to Costco from here on out

Very unfriendly. Got the sams club membership police at the door that won't let you pass unless you take the time to pull out your purse, wallet, and show a card, in order to get in. You can't even check out without a membership so this is unnecessary. Never even had this issue months ago.This place never has variety in stock. Makes it pretty much worthless to renew. You have 20 different things of coffee but can only sell 1 premixed thing of tea and only sell tea bags online. This is one of many examples where you don't carry much.I had 2 items in my cart when leaving and they had to scan each one on my receipt when clearly you can count the two items on the receipt and in the cart and it was 2 itendical items.Service is terrible here.

Only reason they are getting 4 stars is because when we walked in, on a Sunday, there was extremely loud music playing. After we finished shopping I noticed that the music was coming from a speaker that was on display by the treadmills. I realized I forgot something in that area and didn't want music blaring in my ear as I walked by so I turned it down. Upon turning it down, an employee came from by the registers and proceeded to threaten me. I didn't catch the employees name but I do know she had long blue braids. After she threatened me, a paying customer, another employee came over and said something to her. Now I'm all for everyone listening to their own types of music, but I don't think too many people want to listen to rap music, that was saying cuss words, on a Sunday, while they are trying to shop. I'm not sure about Sam's clubs policy about their associates listening to music, but I'm pretty sure that it would be frowned upon for an employee to threaten a customer.

The prices are great and there is a large selection.of items. Unfortunately the service is so slow at this location no meter if you want customer service, check out or cafe there is always a long slow moving line.

5 year a member and it means nothing. Thanks to Shailana. Who made this person any kind of manager? Ineffective communicator over not having a physical card instead of our digital card. Thank goodness for Alicia and Hajar for bailing Shatshow shailana and giving us the nicest experience from true customer service members.

The optical department was absolutely lazy today// Thursday the 28th of September.The optical manager would rather hang out with her friends(co-workers)She told me it take 2hrs to fix the the wire on my seamless glasses(bought at sams)I didnt have 2hrs i went to rx vision down the street. The young lady at rx laughed when i told her the manager from sams said it would take hrs to fix and she fixed them in 8min. I dont know if Russ is the general manager there anymore but if he was he would be very upset.To the lady at sams that lied and chose laziness over customer service. Being a manager you are suppose to set a good example for your employees. If you tired at the the end of you shift find a way to get some more endurance so you are not rude and lazy to a customer at the end of your sift.

Horrible experience. Got off work went home, fed kids and drove to this location. While I am in line I was told if I was paying by card I can go to an express lane. I explained I had cash like everyone else in the (long) line and asked why don't they have more workers to help us.The customer representative told me they didn't need more workers. She explained the problem happens when people wait till the end of the day to come in. Seemed like a rude sneak diss response and there were employees at the front of the store staring at the lines doing nothing.It was not late enough for my money to be accepted. So why not provide quality customer service and help me help you.I got my membership when Sams opened till 8:30 maybe its not for me anymore, I am switching to B.J.s, where they let everyone shop early, they stay open later and provide way better customer service.

This is just the same as any other Sam's Club that I've been to. I live in Ohio & was visiting family. They have some different products that match what the customers buy in the area vs. what they have available at the one I shop at when I'm home in Ohio. I would come to this location again.
