He purchased a 2011 Ford Edge battery for my car (2010) last November & we set it aside, kinda forgot to get to it.*My dad was fighting pancreatic cancer for over 2 years. He passed 12/23/23.*Two weeks ago, my battery died, went to swap battery & posts are on the wrong side! I called Earl's, explained the situation and with ZERO hesitation, the gentleman agreed to exchange 2011 battery for 2010 battery.This is why my dad went exclusively here for many many years. They're doing it right. Thank you so much for helping me AND honoring my father. ♡”

I’ve been in this business for minor things, but this time I needed a new car battery. I had called around the day before looking for a car battery. I chose Great Lakes Battery based off the price, the 6 year warranty, it being a local, small business and their In God We Trust sign. The best part is the service was fast and the two employees that were working there at that time-Kayla and Brogan. Both employees were efficient and friendly. I had hardly finished paying and my car was complete.

“I always get good serice here and usually I come in with questions that they have always been helpful with. Been using O'Reilly even back when they were Murry's.
I will continue coming back. Last visit they tested my battery and alternator on a 16 year old Escape we just got for my daughter. He told me it was ok, but also mentioned that it looked to be misfiring and that could be causing my problems. Was recommended a fuel additive being it had old gas and it is running a little better after adding that and topping off with premium as recommended.”
“Let's start off by saying; there's no comparison to you guys to autozone. I went to autozone and this manager. She wasn't too friendly to deal with the first time. She claimed when I went there this morning prior to you guys that she doesn't allow her techs to do anything to vehicles. She had an attitude. I'm like wow. I went next door and one of your workers there by the name of mike, not only took the time to assist, my situation came out to my vehicle and did whatever he possibly could to make sure. It wasn't my manifold and then checked where my air filter was. To Make sure everything was on tight. Then he came back and got the gauge. Hooked it up to my vehicle. For it to potentially be the oxygen 2 sensor so I want to take the time to thank Mike. In O'reilly's. You guys did a great job!!! Phoney on Auto Zone.”

“Bought windshield wipers ask the guy behind the counter if you install them he said for the most part, so when we went outside we had the rear replacement wiper and he could not figure out how to replace, handed me the wiper and said you're on your own basically, he did replace the front wipers, and I took a 2-minute Google and found out how to take the cover off the rear wiper and replace it myself right there in the parking lot, please train your counter guys to replace rear wiper blades, I will do it myself next time,”

“The young man that helped me was very nice. He was knowledgeable and willing to look stuff up for me. He let me use his funnel and the washroom after I put oil in my car. There was no wait and the price was reasonable. I give 5 stars because I usually get ignored at auto places near me but not here. I was greeted and helped instantly. I would go out of my way for car parts just to have this experience again.”

“Honestly so convenient. I liked being able to shop online to make sure I could compare specs thoroughly, but I didn’t have to deal with shipping! My battery was available same-day and when I went to pick it up, the clerk had great guidance on how to use and maintain it to maximize its life. Really thankful to have these options in a physical store.”
