“This has been my card shop for 20 years and ran by the same owner. He carries an amazing selection of new and vintage cards along with all of the cart supplies that you could dream of. His prices are great and he doesn't overcharge. He works with you on payments and if you need something just let him know when he will order it for you. He knows the industry front and back and will give you sincere advice on whatever card topic you may have. I recommend this place over other card shops in Michigan This is the place to go if you need something.I recommend stopping in taking a walk around and I guarantee you'll walk out with something.”
“Sarge and Red's is a Great lil' shop. Nice folks too. Definitely one of the top 5 in the Detroit Metro Area. If you are looking for something Specific or even Obscure, chances are they'll have it.”
“Went in and they helped me with every question I had to ask and offered the best assistance they could and spent time helping me.
They also offer online shopping and shipping.
Thank you all for your help. I'll definitely be shopping more with you.”
“Had to run to Detroit and of course my son and I are going to check out the Games Workshop Store. It is a great store and we found a lot of models that we haven't seen anywhere else. Matt is a super friendly positive person who makes you get even more excited about the hobby. If you want a positive experience with your kids go see Matt.Thank you Matt”
“Had an amazing experience. The owner was very nice and helped me out. Everything i bought was for a great price. I would recommend this place for everyone looking for a cards and a great staff to help you out.”
“I've literally bee all over the PLANET hitting collectible toy shops, and this is one of the BEST~ MI has a few toy store gems, and this one shines the brightest... and the owner not only talks-the-talk, but he walks-the-walk! Obviously a lifelong fan turned guru - check it out!!”
“I absolutely love this store!! Been going there for years! Highly recommend this store to anyone looking for candles, crystals, herbs, they have it all!! The vibes there is everything!!”

“Nice people. Very fair. They take great care of me anytime I come here. The best prices around when buying, the fairest prices when pawning or selling anything”
“GREAT magic shop! Very talented and knowledgeable magicians manning the shop and a super cool owner. All are very friendly and got out of their way to help in any way they can. Full range of magic items for every level from beginner to advanced Pros!”
“I bought an Arrma quake grom this thing is sweet. I love its little size and its bash ability. It fits in my backpack perfectly. Also has great part findable at Larry’s.”
“Stopped in for some hobby paints for my 3D printed statues I make. A very young gentleman helped me find colors I wanted. I let him know I would like multiples of the colors I find hard to find. He smiled and said no problem. He seen I use a walker and I let him know I would like his help in gathering. He was very happy to help me gather my paints and find them in the racks. He carried them to the cashier when we finished, thanked me when I was thanking him. Then I joked with the cashier. Over all, a super pleasant trip and shopping experience. Such a wonderful store. Thank you Whistle Stop!”
“Stopped in for free comic book day in May. Was greeted by the owner and he got us some back issues on the house! Super kind and friendly. Huge variety to choose from. Wishing them great success and I hope to be back.”
“I’ve never been more impressed with anyone in the Coin collecting businesses, be it at a coin shop, jewelry shops, or even “God forbid” the Pawn shops! The owner there is hands-down, the most generous and fair person I’ve seen!! Very friendly environment. People are treated like family and welcomed with kindness and respect!
I’ve been in the store many times listening to him take care of elderly people, young kids, and selling things I know that cost much more, below cost to help those kids and elderly folks because that’s a type of person he is. If you’re looking for a place to trust with your valuables and give you a fair price then this is it! You won’t be talk down to you and treated poorly while trying to scam you like many other places. Save your time and go here first!! You won’t be disappointed!!”

“I pre-ordered 7 paint sets of ATOM by Ammo by Mig. I initially received only 5 out of the 7 sets. So I waited a week and then called them. The gentleman was super polite and helpful and informed me that they are on back order and the owner or manager was trying his hardest to call Ammo from Europe to get them shipped over. I continue to wait and I finally received them. I'm giving 5 stars because the company was completely transparent with me about the new paint sets and I was not charged for the 2 remaining sets until they were shipped. They were also nice enough to throw in a fee Mr Hobby Thin Cement for the delay. I will definitely do business with them.. Everyone I spoke with since January was super kind and explained the issue. 10/10”
“Shop staff and general crowd are always super welcoming, helpful and friendly, whether I'm shopping for something I'm already into or looking to get into something new. This is my go to spot to get my TCG fix, despite it being quite a far drive for me. There is always a large selection to choose from, so never be afraid to ask about stuff in there. My collections grow with each and every visit. =u=”
“LOVE THIS PLACE… Big fan of the Magic been playing since 2012… Decided to pick it back up since my boy Found interest in it!! People here were GREAT…they traded cards.. NOT JUST SPORTS CARDS… and they are not on the pokemon craze.. ITS GOOD STUFF!!! Can not wait to come back and buy new pack…”
“We found the owners here to be knowledgeable, friendly and fair. We wanted to determine what to do with some older jewelry and they answered questions and were helpful. We also sold a few pieces and the price exceeded our expectations!”
“Stopped in yesterday just to check it out and I already know I'll be back a lot. This is what game shops used to feel like back in the 90's, it's wonderful to see someone out there bringing that vibe back! The gent behind the counter was incredibly friendly and helpful, whereas most games shops around here tend to ignore me until I approach them first. It's also VERY well-organized, which is important given their limited floor space!! I left feeling so glad I decided to stop in and can't wait for my next visit.”
“Went in to get some cards looked at. The owner and his assistant, Dan and Kendra were amazing! Great personalities, patient and super thorough explaining things! We really appreciate the great customer service and will be back ?”
“I have frequently visited the store and have always left satisfied with the purchases that I’ve made and the credit for the LEGO I trade in. They have a wide range of sets that are appropriate for all kinds of different types of collectors and enthusiasts so you will always find something for you inside.”

“Good place for craft supplies, they have a few fabrics, fewer sewing supplies. Good amount of children's crafts, knitting and painting supplies. Nice amount of floral items, and jewelry supplies. It's a fun stop and shop.”
“It's a fine game store, but I'm surprised at all the reviews that say the employees are friendly, since that wasn't my experience.
The last two times I came in, nobody interacted with me in any way? I came in, said hi to the person at the register, and was ignored. The first time I bought dice and also none of the employees spoke to me even after I spoke to them. The second time I came in to buy a mini (they were out of a ton of minis). I told my brother, who was browsing the cards, that I was done shopping since they didn't have what I needed. The employee who had just been talking to my brother didn't even look at me when I said that, which was weird. Then that employee immediately greeted a customer that walked in, asked him what he needed, had a whole conversation about inventory to help him.
I hate making assumptions, but I'm a very feminine woman and when you're a girly girl walking into a game store and everyone ignores you in 2026, it has a really weird vibe.”
“I already knew what I needed when I got there. I asked one of the salespeople for directions to the products and got a perfect description. Got what I needed and was out the door quickly. The store was in really great shape as far as being clean and organized”
“It took me a minute to find the UPS drop off point, not knowing it was inside of Michael's but the store is beautifully laid out! I worked for a similar store about 20 yrs ago and they were constantly scrambling to make their setup satisfactory at best! I will definitely come back for craft and other needs!”
“Normally my wife has to force me to go into Michaels as there's not a lot there that interests me. But, when I have been there, the store is well organized, clean and the staff very helpful. I”

“It's ok just very outdated , feels like I'm stepping back in time. Which is not always bad ;) Seems to have limited stock , but you definitely can find the basics.”
“Tom's store is the best hobby shop I have ever been to. His prices are like shopping on the internet. He will work with you to order models and trains you want to get and pre-order models/trains. He always keeps the latest kits in stock and the staff are all friendly and helpful! Thank you.”
