“Liz made my wedding cake and it was amazing! I only told her i wanted an old fashioned feel and she did it perfect. Plus the frosting was this transcendent buttercream reminiscent of the old world. I swear it must be close to my grandmother's recipe bc i was transported back in time. It's that good. I might have her make another one just because.”

“I visited this business on 6/19/2026. Me and family were in town from Chicago for Father’s Day weekend. The night prior, my wife purchased a Casio watch at Walmart as a Father’s Day gift so I tried to adjust the watch on my own. I couldn’t do it so I looked up a jewelry store near me and I came to this one. The employees were friendly from the moment I walked in. A gentleman attended me but brought in another co worker because he couldn’t get the links off to make the adjustment. The second gentleman took care of the process and I walked out extremely impressed by their service. If you need someone, go to them, you won’t be disappointed. It’s a family run business since 1945. “I had the absolute pleasure of working with Jewels of Lara, and the owner Leila is truly one of a kind.
She created a custom memorial bouquet pin for my bridal bouquet with my mom’s photo, and it meant more to me than I can put into words. It made me feel like my mom was truly part of my wedding day, and I will forever be grateful for that.
I also purchased the most beautiful hair comb, which I received so many compliments on. On top of that, Leila went above and beyond by personally delivering my order to my home when I wasn’t able to pick it up.
When I opened my package, I found the sweetest surprise — a memorial pendant honoring my mom that I can hang from my car’s rearview mirror. That level of thoughtfulness and care is rare.
