“My mom received a stunning Christmas floral arrangement ordered by her long-distance best friend and fulfilled by Shinkle's Flower Shop. (I'll post the picture below.) The problem was the delivery. The doorbell rang and my elderly mother with mobility challenges didn't answer the door in time. She attempted to yell as loudly as she could that she was on her way. However, the driver apparently didn't hear her and the arrangement was left on her porch. When my mom attempted to pick up the arrangement while holding onto her walker, she dropped the heavy vase; water and flowers were all over her porch. Fortunately the vase didn't break. My mom somehow managed to pick up the flowers and the vase, put them into the basket on her walker and made it to the kitchen to salvage the lovely arrangement. When I learned of this, my mom was still upset and I immediately called Shinkle's. The person I spoke with was empathetic about the situation but quickly pointed out that the person who placed the order should have left instructions so the driver would have known to wait and provide assistance. I totally understand this and it would have been great if my mom's elderly friend had thought to do so. My mom's friend alerted me about the delivery and I attempted to contact Shinkle's the night before to leave a message but there was no VM. In my experience, if flowers arrived when I wasn't at home, I have either received a call from the driver or received a note that the delivery was left with a neighbor. I do realize that it was a busy delivery season and can see both sides. It would have been nice if the driver had made a bit more effort and I'm sure there was no malicious intent. It was simply an unfortunate situation. Fortunately, the arrangement was salvaged and I was able to carry it to an appropriate location. I say this to make people aware if they are sending a flower arrangement to provide the florist a heads-up so that assistance could be provided in the event that the recipient needed it. Also, I think a further step by the driver in attempting to call the recipient could have averted this stressful situation for my mother. Yet, the Christmas arrangement was gorgeous and really touched my mom as she enjoyed it throughout Christmas and New Year's Day.”

“Just the cutest shop with such sweet employees. They were all extremely helpful and were very welcoming. They have a wide variety of items, which was very surprising! Definitely a place you should check out for speciality items!”

(I added roses to another arrangement they had on display so, I didn't get to see it before I left the shop..which, was very cozy and had a nice, homely atmosphere about it) They arrived very quickly to the delivery location (less than 2hrs later) IN ONE Beautiful PIECE!
