“Hands down an amazing place to take you're fur babies. They are very caring and extremely informative. I would recommend them to anyone who is trying to get their animal the best care possible. They're gonna tell you the truth even if it's something difficult to hear but they are beyond honest and if you choose not to take their advice that's on you as Dr.Leopold has nothing but the best intentions for animals and so does the staff. We just had to put our boy Buck down and they were fantastic from the start of his cancer treatment to the day we had to say goodbye. We learned alot from Dr.Leopold about the kind of cancer and how to keep him at comfort measures until that day came. They are not a money grabbing place as I've dealt with afew other clinics who were nothing but money grabs and didn't have the animals best interests at the top of their list. Thank you to alexis rd animal hospital for everything and we will always recommend you guy's to anyone as you all truly cared about Buck and have cared for his kitty sister Kingsley who will be coming soon for her check up. Thank you all for the love you all showed Buck and the comfort you gave us before he passed and the day he passed. We are forever grateful to you all and will never forget the warmth and kindness you guy's shared with us. Our cat Kingsley we rescued on the brink of death when she was a kitten.she is a bit skidish but when she goes in for her check ups she senses the calm and love this clinic has for animals and again we are beyond thankful for that kind of atmosphere. If you love you're fur baby and want what's best for them 100% alexis road animal hospital is the place to go. No they didn't ask for this review but they sure as heck deserved this review as they literally care and have shown the care for over many many year's that we have brought our pet's too. Dr.Leopold is a blessing to have as the vet that's there now as she truly show's her care and gives you're animal her time to evaluate and not just rush the pet out she truly gives her time to make sure she's getting right answers or to find what care path will be best for you're pet.The staff is very caring and understanding and truly we can't thank them all enough for everything. To the two ladies who were in the room with us,Buck and with doc we truly appreciate you both and the compassion yall showed to him and us and we think of you guy's through this difficult time and to the woman at the desk who took my call the day Buck had to be put down I can't thank you enough because I know getting those kind of calls pulls at the heart strings. “Did not realize how much blood work on my dog would be. I thought they were drawing blood to test for her thyroid levels which is about $50 $60. Not a complete blood work on her, which came out to over $200 for blood work only. We like going there. We will continue to go there. This was the first time a big problem happened. The tax should go ahead and let you know how much something like this is going to be before they actually do it cuz I would have turned it down if I knew that.”

“I can’t say enough good things about Bird & Exotic Wellness Center. I brought my cockatoo here after previously taking her to a regular veterinary office that also sees birds, and the difference in the level of knowledge and care was incredible. Before coming here, I felt like I wasn’t getting the right information or a clear understanding of what was actually going on with her health. Once I brought her to Bird & Exotic Wellness Center, they were able to properly evaluate her, explain what was happening, and get her started on the medications and treatment she needed. What I appreciate most is how much time they spend with us. I tend to have a LOT of questions because I want to understand everything and make the best decisions I can for her, and I have never felt rushed or like I was bothering them. They take the time to answer my questions, explain the reasoning behind their recommendations, and make sure I understand our options. Having a sick bird is incredibly stressful, especially because birds can hide illness so well, and finding a veterinarian who truly understands avian medicine has made such a difference. I feel so much more confident knowing she is in their care. I’m extremely grateful for everyone at Bird & Exotic Wellness Center and would absolutely recommend them to anyone with a bird or exotic pet.”

“It’s been almost a year since Ziggy could go for a walk because of his luxating patella, but he’s finally back at it for the first time today thanks to Dr. Brown! I was extremely nervous for him to undergo surgery since he’s 10 years old, but all of the staff at Shoreland were phenomenal. I’m very picky about who takes care of my baby and haven’t been very impressed with other animal hospitals or vets, but I give Shoreland an 11 out of 10!! Thank you for fixing Ziggy! “We had an emergency with our 2-year-old cat, Neela, on Saturday. Our regular vet was closed, and the emergency clinic wasn’t open yet. After calling several local offices, this one was the only place willing to see us — and I’m so glad they did! They got us in right away, and the visit was much more affordable than an emergency clinic. Dr. Emily was incredibly kind and took the time to explain everything she found. She even addressed another health issue that our regular vet had never offered treatment options for. The vet tech was just as wonderful — attentive, knowledgeable, and so caring toward both Neela and us. Because of this experience, we’re switching all of our pets’ care to this office permanently. I can’t recommend them enough!”
