Actually wish I could give an extra star. Of all the dog friendly hotels and there are not that many, this is one of the most well kept properties. Please know that when booking especially if not traveling with a pet. We have stayed at almost all of the pet friendly hotels, this exceeds are expectations. And we are both health care providers. Additionally, yes all places will be over priced during peak tourist travel times in Traverse City. It’s dynamic pricing which you may appreciate if you are the traveler and owner of rentals or vacation rentals. So, expect it to be high in the summer like all places. Expect this to be pet friendly and truly pet friendly. Staff are AMAZING and so welcoming. I stay for business and some days need to leave at 5a and Scott tries his best to get some basic simple things out for me to grab and go. Thank you Christy Tricia Scott Shelia and Val! And the maintenance guy. Thank you Emily and Anna (I think). You are all so welcoming to us during our stays.

Great experience. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We booked last minute and have a dog. The room was spotless ,super clean, the beds and pillows were so comfortable. Full breakfast included, scrambled and boiled eggs, bacon and sausage, biscuits and gravy, the works.WILL definitely stay here again. Thank You for everything.

I appreciated the hotel's location and the kindness of the staff at this dog-friendly hotel. The location is closer to downtown than many other options and close to great dog-walking spots on NMC's campus and the Civic Center. Staff remembered my dog's name and greeted her with treats. My husband enjoyed the breakfast options.

These folks just rock - an older facility remodeled; my room was comfortable and clean. What separates this from the others is the level of service / follow up / going above and beyond. So impressed. Would definitely stay here again.

If you're looking for a place right by the lake and a nice place to stay, this is it! The rooms are good size and the staff are friendly. Breakfast is nice with a good variety of foods that are actually tasty. I would recommend this location if you are traveling to Traverse City.Rooms: Nice sizeFood & drinks: Close to lots of restaurants

Return here several times a year. Consistently clean rooms, good service, and reasonable rates given their central location. All rooms are pet friendly with good pet area. Recommend.

The continental breakfast was really good. Best one we had in 3 days at different hotels. The room rate was half the price as the other rooms. Great stay! Friendly staff.

Great place for a good night sleep. Employees very helpful. Bathroom and sink area to small. Poor design of a shower with a half glass door. Water will not stay within the shower

Great service, convenient location. The staff were wonderful! They also have very friendly bus drivers that will take you to and from downtown. Such a fantastic perk for guests! We will 100% be staying here in the future!

Traverse City lodging is expensive in the summer, and this was an expensive BW. It served our purpose but should not need to ask for housekeeping when paying $300+ per night.Typical breakfast in lobby included, but we opted for the Cottage down the road. The restaurant in the hotel next door, Reflect Bistro, served some of the best food we had in TC.Rooms: Small bathroom and our room had sink outside shower area, which made it hard when others sleeping.

On the day we left, we went to breakfast, there was very little of the items like eggs, sausage, cold and other family's didn't get something before they left.. the person at front desk, had to beast, that person was hardly interested, the person who was supposed Tobe looking had to be found. We were very unhappy ?

The room had an odd smell, the carpet was filthy along with the arm chair. I’ve complained and only received a “sorry we didn’t meet your standards” from the GM. I have to say the front desk was very accommodating.
