“I highly recommend the two-day fly fishing school! Jim and Tyler provided clear, easy to understand and implement instruction on all facets of fly fishing with emphasis on casting. The small class size to instructor ration made it feel as though you were the only student in the class as the time they spent with each student was beyond impressive. The second day starts in the shop and the owners, Dave and Kelly, could not be more humble and gracious with no pressure to buy anything but also no question left unanswered. Very nice division between 'classroom' time and getting outside for hands on application. The final afternoon of fishing on the Boardman put it all together and was great! Highly recommend for beginners and those who have some 'figure it out via online video' experience but want to take their skills to the next level. My only complaint is there wasn't a third day to pick these experts brains some more.”
“My wife and I recently visited Joe’s store, and he was the ultimate host. My wife got a pair of boots, and Joe explained the fascinating history behind them. She also picked up a vest that looks like it belongs in a certain British show. Joe made the entire experience fun and fruitfully, even laughing at my lame jokes. We look forward to our next visit.”
“Love that Haystacks is made and owned locally AND has cute clothes! The staff is amazing, so helpful and friendly. They showed me outfits and sizes that fit my own style. It’s very versatile clothing. Comfortable, can be dressed up or down. Today I left with an ADORABLE gray cardigan and the silky reversible pants in a floral print. The sweatpants and sweatshirts are super cute and not too casual.
There are some pricey things in the store. Worth it since they are high quality and classic and beautiful fabrics. Other things are very reasonably priced. Really nice cotton sweaters for $45. Sale skirts that are adorable for $25. Lots of other things too.”
“I (Jennifer Kotarski) an the manager of the Gallery of Shops at Grand Traverse Resort. We started carrying TeeSeeTee in 2021 and can't keep it in stock. Our Resort guests come from all over Michigan and the US and just love the cool, nerdy designs. TeeSeeTee is an awesome company to work with and considering that he designs and prints everything in house the turn around for stock is fantastic. Twice in the last 3 years he has made exclusive custom hoodies for us because the existing tees were so popular. He also printed us some custom staff shirts for the candy store. I can't say enough good things about the company and I look forward to seeing what 2024 holds for them and us.”

“I like the fact that they carry larger size clothing. Seems most stores these days only go up to a 2xl, and once it's washed it doesn't fit anymore. They have a nice variety of stuff. Staff has been very friendly and helpful each time I've visited. Nothing negative so far.”

The clothing and accessories are timeless and fashion-forward all at the same time, but my favorite part is the upstairs which is filled with beautifully unique home goods. “We can up to Taverses City for a mini vacation. Went shopping with my son yesterday at Critters, a huge selection of gifts,and souvenirs. Very clean store, the associate behind the counter was very pleasent. The only complaint is that my hat I purchased it's torn. I will be bringing it back today.”

“I love this place! We came 2 years ago and thought it was so cool you can make your own shirt to remember your trip to Traverse City! We came back again and the shirt I picked was missing the back design (every shirt on the rack was the same. For some reason mine was missing. My mom got the same shirt!) I figured it was an accident and it's NO returns. Which is fine, I figured they could fix it or exchange it for the correctly printed one! I went in the the guy (didn't get his name) was so nice and understanding and literally added the correct print no problem! I appreciate him making that right for me!! That is great customer service!Also the sweetest girl, Gunny (I think that was her name) was amazing. She seen I couldn't pick a color and laid the print on the each shirt for my 12 month old to see if I could pick one. It was SO helpful! They even had a discount/deal going about buying multiple shirts and noticed my whole family came in (even though we were placing separate orders). She told us about it and that was so kind of her! I loved her help. It was kind and we appreciated it all!Needless to say we love this place! We will probably come here every trip to Traverse City. :)”
“beginners class learning how to use the machine was very useful, dawn was very patient with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. making a pillow case at the end to show our new skills is a lovely token to take home. deffinatley recommend and leaves you with a thirst to create more. Thank you!”
“My hubbie likes alpacas so we stopped in. This boutique - selling everything alpaca - is one of the shops in the Village Commons (the old asylum). Believe it or not my hubbie bought a $50 alpaca stuffed animal. It was super duper soft and cute. He said it's going to sit in his office. I suppose he could have spent the money on worse things! The cashier was very sweet and informative. She spoke of an alpaca farm that we could visit (to further satisfy my hubbie's alpaca fix)!”
“Store was super clean. Staff were friendly. I was offered a bag to shop with. Fitting rooms were clean and no wait to get into the fitting room. Slight line at cash register but that is to be expected shopping prime time on the weekend. Cashier called for back up once the line got to 3 people.”

“I went in for the first time to find a dress. I was immediately greeted by an associate. She was so nice, asked if I was looking for myself or someone else. I told her I was looking for myself for a Christmas party. I also told her I never wear dresses and he no idea where to start. She made me feel super comfortable and helped me find some dresses to try on. I was by myself and she kindly offered to give me feedback which I REALLY appreciated. I ended up finding the perfect dress and jewelry as well. I’m not sure if she will ever see this review, but THANK YOU SO MUCH Lucy. You have no idea how much I appreciated the help and kind words.”

“I love Gliks, the TC location is pretty small though, if you're fat it's going to be very uncomfortable for you. I've seen fat people walk in and walk right out of this location and don't tell me it's the clothes either. The Manistee location is much larger and fat people spend a lot more time in that location.”
