“About a week ago, I came in with my small chainsaw for assistance starting it. I bought the saw at your store a couple of years ago, but frankly have not used it much. Without hesitating one of your associates (a nice, knowledgable, younger guy with some colorful tats on his forearms) joined me outside, got it started and even tightened the chain! After giving me a couple of final helpful pointers, we said goodbye. All without charge! This is an example of rare and wonderful customer service, so hard to find these days (especially at HD, ha!)

“If Roy's doesn't have it, you don't need it! From food to Minwax to nuts and screws, they have it all. They are open from 7 am-11-15 pm 7 days a week so if you're in Traverse City you can heart what you need at almost anytime. I have them 4 stars because they didn't have an iPhone holder for my husband but they actually put that on a list of things they need to get! It's an experience and it a gas station too!!”
“I was in a time crunch to get some specific paint and not only did they gladly help me, they even called an employee to come in who knew the paint department a little better since they were short staffed. That employee came in with the biggest smile on her face. Side note: I did NOT demand they call in extra help, it was done without my knowledge and they assured me it was how they operate! If not for Brandy, I would have gone elsewhere for my cellular shades. Management should acknowledge her cheerful, helpful attitude!”
