Lily has been awesome! She is extremely knowledgeable, personable and resourceful. I got myself into a bind, and Lily offered different solutions and actually worked with me instead of pressuring me towards one solution. She is also very prompt responding to emails and phone calls. The worst financial institution ever, they are total scam artist, my mother had an auto loan thru them and the car became undrivable and is being stored, we changed the insurance to storage instead of full coverage and the credit union sent a nasty letter saying they were going to charge her 2300 dollars for 6 months of full coverage insurance and when we called to explain they told her to take a personal loan for an amount that was almost double what she owed on the car and then they would let her put it under storage insurance. This is total predatory lending also trying to take advantage of a senior citizen/widow.

New teller at the US 31 CU was fantastic, cared enough to ask why I was closing my account. Unfortunately I didn’t catch his name.
Explained to him why and he immediately got his managers attention. Manger did a fantastic job and collectively changed my opinion of the credit union. Customer service that you don’t always get in today’s world.

Update: I had the pleasure to speak with Carolyn, the branch manager. She was very apologetic about the situation and assumed the branch fault. She assured me this is not their usual level of service. She will personally look onto it and she will make sure we get our registration as fast as possible. I am satisfied with the resolution of this issue.

Absolutely 0 diligence. We completed a car loan through them with the seller meeting us at the branch on Feb 15. Today Feb 24, we learn that the branch never sent the title over to the main office. Therefor, we have a loan for a car we cannot drive because they haven’t done the registration. We need to drive our car, this is ridiculous

I have been a member of LMCU since the beginning, ever since they were Teachers’ Credit Union. When there was a technical difficulty with my transfer of funds, it was certainly a pleasure to work with Mr. Eddie Duran, who is very knowledgeable with all aspects of LMCU and very professional in his resolving my problem. Nicely done and highly understanding of the situation. Mr. Duran greeted me and gave me some insight: “This isn’t just a job; it is my profession.” I’m glad I am a member of LMCU because of people like Mr. Duran and his team. Thank you and nice work!

Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Know one knows who's doing what. The last couple of months have been an absolute mess. I do not recommend them for banking, lending, anything. Such a mistake to open an account with LMCU.

great place.my only recommendation is you guys have laminated cards with our account numbers, your two locations in TC with phone numbers, with a routing number on it as well. something the size of a credit card that can fit in our wallets. thanks!

So this place pretty much saved me, after I had lost my debit card and ID. The wonderful customer service rep was able to find and verify my account and print me a new card then and there! 10/10 would recommend
