I needed to change some account information and swap out some equipment. I read online that you can swap out older equipment at their physical locations. My Internet has been acting up at home for awhile. It might be a spyware/adware issue, but I figured changing out the equipment might be a place to start. I visited their location in town 2x in two days. The check in kiosk at the door is easy to use and fairly obvious (not to everyone though, I didn't realize it on my first visit and on my second visit I cut in front of someone via checking in, someone who had been there before but hadn't checked-in via the kiosk. Am I the a**hole?, yes, yes I am. Staff were helpful and efficient. Getting everything plugged in and connected once I got home. I just reversed what I had unplugged when I swapped out the old stuff. I still had to call for help, but I didn't have to spend $65 to have a technician come to the house, so that's a win. Pardon my essay.

I'm rating the store location itself--great service. Make an appointment aka reservation online before you go. You can do this right from the Google Maps listing. It's easy and you jump the queue. You're able to arrive & check-in up to 30 min early. This is what I did and was helped within 5 minutes of walking in the store. About 5 minutes later I was walking out with the new cable modem equipment I came for. Couldn't have been easier.

I called in today and spoke with a very helpful young man. His name is Lance Thornton, based out of Grand Rapids MI. He was extremely helpful. So much so, that he not only saved me money on my bill. Nelson helped me into better options for service. He took a customer of nearly 40 years who was ready to cancel service, to a very satisfied and still current customer.All employees can learn by taking a page from his book…. Excellent customer service and a helping heart can go a long way.Great job Lance… Keep up the good work.

It's all how you approach people. Most of you one star people should join a one star group. Just miserable people never satisfied. I walked in the store and had the best experience. In a few minutes calling about something I cant figure out I'll repost the outcome. My guess it will go well using the respectful and be nice.

Called to get only internet services. Told them I wanted JUST internet as I don't need TV. We have roku tvs and pay for subscriptions through them. He said okay and gave me the price of my internet and informed me of the activation fee. Cool got it. Get my equipment (two days late due to storms), set up my account and notice i have a way higher bill and that im signed up for tv service. Call and cancel and they tell me it wont go into effect until my next billing cycle???? I didnt sign up for TV. I will be heading into the store Monday to dispute this. Absolutely unacceptable.

Now they're RAISING PRICES AGAIN. Corporate communism at its finest! Not even deserving of one star! Quite frankly, YOU SUCK SPECTRUM. Just another big corporation that could care less about the local average Joe. This is one of the worst bait and switch companies represented today with poor service and bad billing practices. ATT and Verizon round out the top 3 worst. SHAME ON ALL OF YOU!

Just a normal service for your normal products. They will bait and switch you if you are not willing to go across street to buy your device and come back and have them activate it. But for some reason if you do...they have problems transferring your contacts and information.

Not sure if this is the right location for this review, but we recently had a technician (Nikki) come out to install our fiber internet and she was great! Very friendly, helpful, professional and worked quickly while being efficient.

The rating isn't even a 1. Terrible service. I would not recommend Spectrum-Charter to anyone. It's always a total hassle to get any help from them. I tried 3 different times to return a cable box with no luck at all.The third time I waited outside 30 minutes before the doors opened. I was second in line. I signed in and saw that I was 3rd in line because there was someone who made an appointment online. There were at least 12 people behind me. They had 3 customer service people but only one was waiting on customers.When I went up next in line only to have the cable box scanned and leave all which would have taken 60 seconds. The person with an appointment got furious. I then left the store, knowing that it would be another 30-45 minutes to be next in line.Spectrum should post it everywhere that people are encouraged to make appointments. Also they should have a huge poster that says if you are returning your cable box, go to any UPS store. Or they could have a scan and drop Kiosk in each store.This would free up the jammed packed store. Spectrum Charter never fails at failing.

amazing company-disney issue i called and was told no problem we will be adjusting all bills given the lost channels--That was a spectrum representative who lied--now if you call and try to get to the billing company the automated system says were to busy cant take your call pls call back-this company is terrible

Oh my stars!!!! Spectrum sets a new record for INCOMPETENCE!!!! Nobody there knows anything. We got sold a really story just so they could close a deal.
