I was very concerned when Flagstar was bought out, I even considered switching banks worried that their customer service would change. Sumon Ahmed changed my mind, definitely a prime example of a person who cares for and goes the extra mile for his branch and all of its clients/customers.

My debit card was frauded on February 8, 2024. As of today I still have not received a new card, (3/15/24). The fraud department did not order one nor did they inform they were not. When I called my South Lansing Branch a very rude person stated I needed to wait 14 business days, not including Saturday, which IS a postal day. I returned to my branch on 2/23/24. Still no card. On that day I was told it was ordered while I sat there. Still no card as of 3/14/24. My branch says it was returned to them marked: "Unable To Deliver" by the post office. Makes no sense since I got my bank statements and other mail!!! Now they are mailing it to the Branch and I will have to pick it up!!!! When????All my bills paid by my card have been turned off due to missing 2 payments now. My TV, Amazon stuff, I had to pay cash for my phone. I don't do credit cards! They are ruining my credit!!!!!! I will NOT use my account number!!!! Now what do I do?????Additional info: Such a joke on their Facebook they send you to??? Why bother?? Talking to a lawyer best option!!!

As a United States Air Force Veteran i am ashamed of the service i have received since this company has taken over my mortgage. The company attention to detail is abysmal, an i surely will be looking to change my mortgage company ASAP. I am currently incurring over 500$ increase in mortgage, No fault of my own and have exhausted every resource within their structure with no resolve. Polite staffing but no accountability what so ever. I plan to use every resource i have to shed light on how this company treats its VETS to include local news stations and the internet. Stay Far Away From Flagstarbank and associates. Old and new logo as they rebrand. It does not matter!They are owned by this company: New York Community Bancorp, Inc BE AWARE OF THEM ALL!!!!I got more work to do! Over And Out

I have spent 2 days wasting my life while I need to be running my two businesses to be thrown around like a nobody. Why?! Because no one knows what to do! When they changed ownership did they fire all the other over the phone help?! They definitely did not get the public to do a test run on their online system. Logging in to the computer version for business… yeah be ready to donate a body part each time; why? Because you go through 20 different things and once you log out you need to do it all over again oh and you need help by a customer service rep to unlock your account because even though you 100% have the right information, it doesn’t matter. Then be ready to be sent temporary codes one after the next for those to not work and then be told there is nothing else they can do. So then you have to go to a supervisor after 20 minutes on hold be helped and all good. But wait! Don’t ever log out because it starts all over! Oh and there’s more!!!! The online pin and I’d name you just got figured out and logged into online is completely different to the phone app version!!! You need company IDS, user ids and PIN numbers… all different from one another! I especially love having a person not know how to unlock my account to they send me to the “treasurer” who then after 21 minutes actually sends me to an operator who then sends me to good old Branden in analytics who answers “hello?” Because he doesn’t work in customer service and doesn’t know why I would be sent to him. Currently I’m nice again on hold for 24 minutes now waiting for someone to maybe (most likely not) know something! 2 days wasted of my life and I have so many things I need to do!

I had an absolutely terrible experience working with this bank. We met every requirement needed, and did everything they asked of us. They still refused to give us a loan because we were trying to assume a mortgage at a lower interest rate. What happened was absolutely discrimination, and they wasted our time for months as they strung us along. If you are looking for a bank with a shred of integrity, keep on looking. The customer service is pathetic and they are extremely dishonest. We had no problem at all getting a loan from another lender, and were able to get one in 1 week after Flagstar almost caused our house deal to fall through.

There needs to be a ZERO Star option. This bank had done nothing but offer lip service to review a submission for a deed description change and has failed to meet a concurrent approval deadline with my local Town & County. All they do is offer lip service.

Why is Flagstar/New York Community Bank going through customers accounts checking their activities to generate lead calls to annoy me every week? I never signed up for this Bank to monitor what is coming and going out my account to offer me their products.

please, if you have any choice in the world do not use this bank. Staff are working from home you can hear babies crying, dogs barking and the pans in the kitchen. Staff are so unprepared they are unable to answer any questions whatsoever. This bank has messed up my mortgage for two years. I finally had to hire an attorney to make them do what they needed to do. Anyone who rates this over a zero must be employed by this company. The employees know the company is crooked and yet tell you they don't care. Whatever you need to do for a check. Please, don't use this bank under any circumstances.

Worst bank ever. I have a auto loan with them that is in perfect standing and to get a 10 day pay off they are charging me up to 30.00 dollars... ridiculous.....its not enough to get all the intrest I paid but to nickle and dime me for a payoff......never will use them again... junk fees never heard that the day I got the loan nor read it.. beware
